The Historic Brook Forest Inn, in its early days, was known as the elite destination by many Denverites. They often traveled the thirty-five miles by horse and buggy. As a result of the many worldly stories, legend has it that there were secret meetings of Nazi gatherings, gold hidden in the walls and ghosts of a stable hand and a chamber maid. There have been many sightings of the ghosts “partying” on the third floor over the years.
