It is in a great location for the families we visit in the St. Louis area.
No attention to cleanliness, the first thing we did was open the refrigerator door to place drinks & ice packs we brought for travel, the door had two 'dirty' lids left. The shower had hair from previous occupants, & sink drain stop was broke.
Some of the staff were nice.
Some of the staff were rude. There was a shaving razor in our shower when we got into our room and my young child almost grabbed it. Looked like the shower had not been clean. Manager was supposed to call and apologize but never heard from him.
Not worth a $ ---
Great location and the staff was very polite and helpful.
Good price, staff friendly, good location
Location, nice breakfast selections
Bathroom floor was full of hair. I had to wipe it up so I could use it.
The hotel seemed clean. My room was clean and comfortable.
The hotel is a bit dated and could use sure cosmetic improvements.
Good quality hotel for the price. First time in a Pear tree Inn. I will be using the hotel chain in the future. Breakfast was not fancy but much better than just donuts or bagels. Having a free breakfast made the stay an even better value.
The staff was very nice.
They said they would have drinks (lemonade?) at night but we didn't see this during our stay.
The staff was very friendly. They are next to a Denny's and a Bandana's BBQ, so you can walk. The pool looks nice too.
They didn't have my reservation and I had to pull up my itinerary showing I had a room and had prepaid
The size of the room
Very similar to the Drury, where my kids love to stay.
After I was in my room, they booked another couple in my room and gave them keys to my room. Then, the staff came to my room and gave me new keys and told me to dead bolt my door that night just to make sure other people couldn't get into my room.
Convenient location. Plenty of parking.
Level of cleanliness was poor. Musty smells. Carpets nearly threadbare. Had to call for assistance when I arrived, as no one was working at check-in desk.
That it was clean and reasonably priced.
Smoking rooms on the same floor as non-smoking rooms. Could smell smoke.
Hair shampoo and clean
TV was old
The staff The staff (all of them) were helpful, cheerful and accommodating. A nice experience.
Breakfast was fresh, hot food was hot milk was cold and freshness, eating area was cleansed all food was very fresh.
Desk clerk was unfriendly and not too helpful
It was great - a great experience and what you expect when you pay for a room in a nice hotel
It was all good
Staff at front desk was very mean
I forgot to ask for a non-smoking room assuming I wouldn't be given one unless I requested a smoking room. So, I was overwhelmed by the odor in the room. Also, no coffee cups were in the room preventing use of the coffee maker.
The staff was (is) excellent; the room was nice, and the price was very good!
The highway is very close, and there was a lot of noise.
There were several restaurant within walking distance; I needed a corkscrew, and the Drury hotel next door had a bar whose staff was quite willing to help with that. We were able to get a non-smoking room with a minimum of hassle.
People were pouring into to city for the Cardinals' playoff game the next , and hotels were day, and hotels in my price range were hard to come by. At check-in, our 'concierge' seemed almost offended when we asked if there were a non-smoking floor.
Location was good for me. The hotel is about average for 2-stars so it delivered what was promised. I prefer 2 1/2 stars because they can be quite a bit nicer.
The carpet in the halls and stairs badly needs to be replaced. The room itself was fine.
I liked that the hotel room seemed to be very clean. And the staff was very friendly.
I didn't like the fact that the mattresses were very soft. I had a backache the whole time we were there. They were not old or broke down they just bought soft mattresses and I like them firm.
Staff were very nice and helpful. Is also very pet friendly. Has a nice grassy area for my dog and they even provided the plastic bags and a disposal bin.
Clean rooms, fair price, good location, and great staff.
traveled alot this summer with a baseball team. This hotel was well serviced with clean rooms and very convenient for the baseball fields, food, and shopping.
Family booked NON smoking room, late arrival gave us a room that was supposed to be non smoking but was located on a smoking floor (2); HELLO you smelled the smoke. The next morning after complaint they took that night off my bill GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They found us a room at end of 1st floor that was non-smoking; however the entire hotel smelled of smoke. The hotel was clean, room size good, towels thin but okay. Breakfast not my thing, muffins and such. If you do not mind the smell of smoke or you are a smoker, this is a good place to rest your head. Spent 2 nights. Would not stay again due to smoke. MWest, Florida
The front desk staff, housekeeping, and check-in staff were all friendly. They had good advice about going to Six Flags. However, it is in a gated area outside and was a nice temperature, warm, but not overly warm.
Beds were WAY too soft, and pillows were the crumb foam type which are never comfortable in my opinion. Although a non smoking room, there were cigarette burns on the nightstand and bedspread.\n
We stopped here while traveling across country, The rooms were comfortable, they let us use the pool later than posted. Denny's is right next door and gas stations are nearby to get fuel before you hit the road.
