Hard to find
full size kitchen
Fairly comfortable room.
Location - very difficult to get to, mainly because of road construction. Very hard to get onto highway due to that. Poor breakfast, used to Drury, and this is no Drury.
It is like a home away from home and does not feel like a hotel. It's nice to be able to come into town to visit my family and have a place as comfortable as this to stay.
It is a little difficult to find.
Limited breakfast, outside pool, beds not real comfortable.
All great, the staff, the breakfast, the rooms, everything.
The room had a smokey (cigarette) odor. An open can of pop was in the fridge. Breakfast buffet room was crowded. Food okay. Best item offered on buffet: hard boiled eggs. Somewhat difficult to find hotel (dark, rainy night).
All the convenience in the room. Excellent breakfasts, very nice staff.
Office was hard to find. Needs more signage.
Love the rooms, they're spacious and have a nice kitchen.
Room attendant Suggested leaving a tip on a welcome card as soon as we entered the room. I felt that was a little tasteless. She also knocked faintly and just walked in on my husband and I, before 9:30am. Parking is terrible.
Kitchen in the room
In the morning 2 cops buy the door & I heard on of the staff members saying there was a guy in parking lot with a gun. They went in same building & stopped by room by mine. Why wasn't I told what was going on. All the staff said was sorry no compensation.
The room was very nice and comfortable
The breakfast was below average.
Clean and nice staff
Have a kitchen in it
Wonderful staff that was extremely helpful! We got a studio room that had a queen bed and pull out sofa. Very comfortable and clean. Will stay here every time we travel through.
The breakfast had a lot of options, but something warm would have been nice.
Clean and noce
Location and the desk chair was ripped I several places, too bad, room was nice besides that
Hallway smelled of smoke. Breakfast was horrible. Staff we not very friendly. I got a note saying I was gonna be charged for smoking in the room. And I am a nonsmoker. they claimed they put that up all doors. I liked nothing
Hallway smelled of smoke. Breakfast was horrible. Staff we not very friendly. I got a note saying I was gonna be charged for smoking in the room. And I am a nonsmoker. they claimed they put that up all doors. I liked nothing. That said it as a suite. Nope
The staff is very helpful and friendly
The hotel needs better cleaning. There was someone's lipstick on the conditioner bottle, baseboards had scuffs and liquid drip marks that could easily be cleaned
I loved the layout of the room as well as the kitchenette. The breakfast was nice enough. The girl working the dining room was quite friendly and helpful.
Our restroom was dirty. I'm hoping this was just an accident and not the norm. Having no fan in the bathroom made it less pleasant for sure.
The fully equipped kitchen
The breakfast, NO indoor pool, located IN an industrial park, sign needs to be at the end of the road that you turn on to get back to the motel. Better lit turn into drive for motel.
Location and continental breakfast.
Faucet in shower broken. The plug you pull out for shower flow not working so the water pressure was almost non existent for taking a shower.
Quite area to be on I-44. Would stay again.
Location, laundry facilities.
Level of cleanliness was subpar. Furnishings were worn.
Free breakfast, close to many attractions in St. Louis area.
The bed was very uncomfortable. They could've taken the money they spent on cheap flat screen televisions and upgrades the most important piece of furniture in a hotel room.
The breakfast was nice.
The room was very small. I think this hotel is more for people staying longer than a night with the kitchen set up. There was one bed and one sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. Also not the cleanest facility. We would not stay here again.
This is a nice place. I think the common area could be nicer, as could the breakfast (which is a cheap and easy thing to do), but the room was very nice and everything was spotless.
The location isn't great. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, although it IS right next to 44.
Price, got it for---- dollars
Only one queen bed. Had a pull out couch for other 'bed'. Definitely not comfortable. Very limited breakfast. Luckily Mcdonalds and Krispy Cream just down street.
Breakfast was not up to par with other hotels in this range.
Microwave and refrigerator
The walls were thin. Every word from the people in the next room could be heard. We could even hear the moaning at night. It was like they were in our room. Goodthing we didn't have our children with us.
My husband and I stayed here Memorial weekend. Great value loved the extra space with kitchenette and sitting room. Shopping and restaurants not within walking distance but only 2 min. away by driving. It was a very quiet area even though it was next to a highway and in a industrial area, I'm sure a little busier weekdays.
The Hot water stopped working after the first day. we were given another room for our second night stay.
It was the most run down Marriott property I have ever seen. It had a musty wet like smell. The location is in an industrial park and exit from the interstate makes it difficult to get to. The lobby was the smallest I have ever seen. Bad bed.
I'm just used to getting 3-3 1/2 star hotels for the price I paid. This hotel was extremely disappointing for that reason.
We stayed at the Fairlfield Inn in the front part of this combined property several times and never really noticed the TownePlace Suites in the back. We decided to give TownePlace a try once we knew it was nearby Fairfield and are glad we did. Rooms were refreshed daily during our three night stay and the room was overall very clean after each refresh. The beds were a little soft, but otherwise we have no other complaints. For the price, these suites are a tremendous value. The breakfast is a little scaled down compared to Fairfield, but there was still enough choice to suit us. Furthermore, the reservatioins did not require any prepayment as was the case for Fairfield.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights April 16-18 and loved it! We brought our son with us. We were very comfortable with the accommodations. The kitchen, which included a stove with oven, full refridgerator, and dishwasher, was WONDERFUL! Staying in a hotel is one expense, but not having to spend the money on eating out was GREAT! And they provided a great variety for breakfast. It wasn't hot food, but good stuff to choose from. And the coffee bar was great! Even tho they provide a coffeemaker, coffee, and all the fixins in your room, you can also go to the lobby and they even provided flavored creamer...mmmm! We loved this hotel and will definitely stay there again for future events.
