From the moment you drive up the winding lane you will feel that you have stepped back in time to a quieter, more tranquil era. The large colonial brick manor stands overlooking the William Conner property on the White River. The B&B is located on a quiet estate that is convenient to Indianapolis attractions including shopping, sports and art. Many of the Inn's refurbished decorations came from neighboring Indiana businesses such as the 18 foot dining table which was formerly in an executive board room, and the large wooden locker from Union Station, the train station in Indianapolis. Your entry through the French doors will lead you to one of 10 beautifully restored rooms complete with 10 foot ceilings, and all the luxuries of home. Antiques, oriental rugs, and elegant furnishings make an overnight stay at the Frederick-Talbott a memorable one. Each room offers spacious bathrooms with hairdryers, fine mattresses, Cable TV, and some offer Jacuzzis and a fireplace. The formal dining room seats 24 comfortably. A second dining area on the sun porch is a cheerful place to start your day.
