Nice room. Nice staff. Taco's and convenience store on same lot. Excellent stay.
i had a great stay and i really liked the hotel butttttttt....the parking lot needs a lot of work.
Friendly staff, Breakfast. Large shower area.
No toilet paper holder in the bathroom.
I liked the free breakfast and the late checkout time
I didn't like how small our room was. I didnt like that there was no bath tub.
The front desk clerk was not well versed in customer service.Acted like I was bothering her when I told her the blow dryer didn't work. Had to answer 50 questions before she would bring me another one...
It was very close to the event I was attending. It had a mini fridge and iron in the room.
At check in they made copies of my ID and credit card, this has never happened to me,the lady said it was hotel policy. The back entrance had no lock on the door, which made security very poor.
Close to where we had to be.
Knowing we were not handicap, our room was set up as if we were. They could have removed the bath seat for us. Room was not ready at 3pm as told. They were still cleaning it. Had to wait 15 minutes before we could get in it. Room was small.
Took 4 rooms before it was acceptable. First room smelt smokey. Next two rooms had fan motor noise on their heaters and this rooms fan would squeal after running a while but did not hear it the second night and it was warmer outside the second day so did
Breakfast n pool
Room small, carpet filthy, noisy
Very clean room and helpful staff.
Bedroom blanket seemed kinda cheap - but everything else was great!
The hotel was close to the interstate.
The hotel needs to be updated.
The pool was fun (had it to ourselves); the hotel was generally pretty quiet; plenty of breakfast options! Oh I thought the showers were nice too, it was a walk-in shower not just a tub one.
The beds were not to comfy, but not a huge deal.
location, and we got a first floor room.
breakfast was vary sparse, vary lacking.
Even though full, this hotel was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and new looking. Everything appeared clean. I thought the frig and microwave was very nice to have. This is a nice economy hotel besides a few downsides.... Breakfast was meager by 9 am (closes at 9:30) - just very small pastries/muffins and waffles, juices and coffee (I didn't look for tea but there was none in the room). Ice machines were all broken at one point. Toilet easily clogged and I had to plunge it myself. No restaurants within walking distance. No complimentary shuttle service and taxi costs $55 for 17 miles from the airport.
A good economy hotel, the Sleep Inn was clean and the bed very comfortable. It was great to have a microwave and sm frig in the small room. A few downsides: Breakfast is meager with an assortment of small pastries and muffins. There is a waffle maker, but I didn't have time to try it. The toilet paper and tissues are thin and rough as are the towels. I didn't watch much TV, but when I did, the picture was snowy. No restaurants or businesses close by except a small gas station and convenience store, but I didn't need them. The internet was cutting in and out on me, especially at night.
Upon driving into the hotel parking lot, it was quickly apparent that people were permanently calling this place home. A family was picnicing outside their first floor room -- easily noted by the ripped out window screen, broken down folding chairs, and rusted grill gathering of family members. Since we were on the 3rd floor and the other end of the motel we decided to overlook this tacky setting. We found our room, which was as expected for the price, and hoped for a good place to rest our heads later that evening. I called the front desk and requested an ironing board be sent to our room (the room contained an iron, just not an ironing board). The front-desk person said she'd bring it up immediately, of which I was greatful since the wedding we were going to was to begin in an hour. More than 30 minutes later the ironing board had not arrived so I sent my husband to the front desk and had him get one. The front-desk person said that she'd forgotten all about it! So we went to the wedding, had a good time, visited with family at there homes and came back to the motel and went to bed. At 1:26 a.m. the party next door began. Loud revelling that included cursing that would make an inmate blush occurred long into the morning. I finally had to turn my television set on at 3 a.m. to drown the sound coming from their room. It was the worst night ever and we will never again utilize this particular hotel for our trips to Michigan. You may be wondering why we didn't complain? Think about it, call the front desk, who come up and tell the drunk people to be quiet. Only thing that will ensure is a louder party of angry drunken neighbors. We did mention it to the morning staff; they asked the same question and we explained our rationale. All they said was... well how was everything else?
The ladies at the front desk was very friendly. They always greeted you when you came into the lobby and made sure you had everything you needed. We appreciate the cleaning ladies there. They were understanding to come back and clean a little later. The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was neat. My first time. We will be back in the future.
friendly, curtious staff clean room and common areas not the most kid friendly, two nights in a row are children were complained upon, the first night it was while they were laying in bed overall price and accomidations were good
