We had a nice and spacious room with a lovely sitting area outside.
Later in the morning we ran out of hot water in the bathroom.
The location was close to Firenze and was a large room
There was an odour in one of the rooms and the bed was broken and squeaked every time one moved a muscle. Breakfast options are minimal.
The size of the room, very quiet and the location of the B&B which is a wee bit off the busy part of the city. It can be easily reached by local bus (10 min.) or by walking approx. 30 min. from the train main terminal.
The continental breakfast (very minimal)
The house is situated on a very quiet dead end street, with secure free parking, but the center of the city is very easily accessible with a bus, or a taxi after 1 am (just 10 euros from the city center). Walking to the Ponte Vecchio took 25-30 minutes, so we did it only once. House owner is a very friendly guy. Perfect if you want to see the Florence and then continue to other cities in Tuscany with a car.
Apartments must be ok, but don't take double rooms, they are quite awful, our door was on the ground level with the driveway in front of it (The parking surrounds the house on three sides). The breakfast is nonexistent, but there is a very good take away gastronomia Due Strade just a short walk from the house. The bed was screeching like hell, the ladder to the second level where the couch and the TV set are situated screeched as well, your hear the neighbors and the cars in the parking lot, it was quiet just because the house was half empty.
I liked it, but hotel staff stole my wife's cosmetics.
That hotel saff stole cosmetics.
Friendly staff. Breakfast.
The breakfast terrace
The first morning we had available rolls for breakfast as usual throughout hotels in italy. However never again were rolls provided. We had to put up with very thin dry white bread. Too many mosqitoes in the room.
We only spent two nights but the staff were friendly and helpful it was close but not too close to the city. We would recommend it to our friends
They are rebuilding and it was a bit noisy during the day but this will only be temporary. most people would not be in their rooms anyway
