Friendliness, location for what I was visiting, surrounding shops.
Very clean and friendly staff
2 night stay.......Maid Service didn't replace towels and washcloths.
Was close to the university. Price was good.
It was dirty. Towels smelled like cigarettes. Stairwells were filthy. Ceiling in bathroom was peeling. Bathroom light was exposed. Breakfast offering was sub par
Ease of reservation and access.
Restroom fan did not work. Bathroom had hair(not mine) in it upon arrival. Cleanliness not the best.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, as they always are. We have stayed there for years when go to our family reunion, family weddings, graduations, and funerals. We have always enjoyed our stay.
I don't like that the place hasn't been freshening up sometime. Maybe some new carpet a little paint and general maintenance would help.
Friendly and good breakfast
Old and outdated room had to walk upstairs
Front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Overall exterior was clean and in good repair.
i stay at hotels in Florence about twice a month and due to a graduation in town my first couple of options were not available. The room was a nonsmoking however there was an ashtray in the room and our room and smelled of musty smoke.
I liked the location.
I did not like the terse, antagonistic treatment toward me by the staff. The questions I asked were either ignored, or the reply was I'm not sure. This place really began to fell hostile toward not only me but other guests as well.
The cleanliness and efficiency of the staff.
The size of the room was small.
friendly and clean as an old hotel can be needs a true renovation though not just paint and deep cleaning
For the price it was exactly what was expected. The room is nice...up to date furniture, TV, working desk, etc. There were no surprises and if I needed to book a last minute room again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
The bathroom and sink area is outdated and looked a little iffy. If they put some money into renovating the showers, flooring, sink fixtures and counter in the bathroom, this would be a 9/10 review from me. It just looked old and therefore looked dirty.
Like that the bedding is changed with each guest.
Somewhat cold environment. Also, breakfast was less than adequate.
Closeness to restaurants and other services.
Interior was dated and somewhat worn.
The juice at breakfast was watery, even after they changed it. The room was not very clean.
The only thing good about this hotel is the staff.
I tried 3 non smoking rooms before I accepted the fact that all the non smoking rooms are heavenly laced with smoke. The lobby floor was nasty. The restroom didn't have soap. Ill not stay there again.
The staff was excellent! There was nothing wrong with the facility. It was nothing special, but it was a very good value for the price.
The first room we got smelled of cat urine. It was really fresh, like it had just happened. The second room had no towels or blankets for the bed and the iron did not work.
very friendly staff, all our rooms were clean. had issues with outside electric plugs to charge boat batteries and they had someone there in 30 min and power back on in an hr. I was very impressed and will stay again.
The breakfast was good and you weren't bothered an the pillows were excellent.
Easy to find. Easy parking. Warm friendly and easy check-in. Spotless room with all the amenities. Good hot breakfast. An especially helpful front desk person. Tammy Dawson I think.
I left a pair of pants on one of the hotels hangers. I called and nothing was turned in. No resolution was offered. Other than that it was ok.
IT WAS VERY CLEAN. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL
NOT MUCH ROOM FOR BOAT PARKING IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA FOR FISHING, WHICH MANY ARE.
Service was nice. People were friendly
Batteries in remote control were dead, tub was dirty
Outside rooms only! An older hotel that does make an effort to be clean inside and appealing from the outside.... Their deluxe breakfast was the worst I have ever seen.....
Had to switch rooms due to HEAVY AROMA of cigarette smoke in non smoking room. Bathroom light/Vanity lights wouldnt come on. Blanket was obviously dirty!
I was a female traveling alone and I felt unsafe in the facility and location. I asked to have a room close to the office and the staff did accommodate me for that.
I have always felt comfortable choosing a 2 1/2 star hotel from Priceline. NEVER AGAIN. This hotel did not meet the standards of the other 2.5 stars I've stayed in. Very, very disappointed and as a result, I will not use Priceline again.
I was horrified to find that this hotel was so dirty and had exterior doors to the outside! I am a professional woman on state per diem that must use your service in order to save money. I use your service all the time!
Good AC and friendly staff
The bathroom had a dirty wet hand towel on the floor when I checked in and the bedding had very thin blankets. I had to use the bedding from the extra bed to stay warm
BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE
the bathroom smelled of urine, foul horrible odor.
Room smelled like cat urine, sink faucet ran the whole stay, paint was peeled and hanging from bathroom ceiling in 2 areas. Front desk staff stated 'If you had booked with us directly I would give you a refund'. Why should it matter who I booked through??
Located in the center of town
Bathroom smelled like male cat urine. Front desk didn't provide the Wifi password. Doors in this hotel open to the outside. I was given a handicap accessible room so I had to bend down in the shower and I'm only 5'4'.
The staff was very friendly during my stay.
The hotel is undergoing maintenance and it was a mess.
Run down, appeared someone had kicked in the door, the walls were pealing, NO BLANKETS loud noise at 3 am
The desk clerk was nice.
Location was great.
The hotel ran out of clean towels. The room was dirty (cob webs on ceiling). The drain on the sink didn't work properly. The toilet lever had to be held down during the entire flush.
good price but it was an overall poor experience with staff, attention from hotel staff, cleanliness and Priceline's rating was well off the mark. This hotel needs to be downgraded at least to 1 star.

It didn't cost a lot and it was fairly quiet.
This hotel is in dire need of renovation. The carpet was nasty and the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were not enough towels in our room.
The first room stank of stale smoke. We were able to change rooms but the second room had a filthy carpet. Dark brown streaks and smudges of who knows what. The bathroom door didn't close all the way, the used plastic cups were not replaced.
If I would have booked this hotel with wyndam It would have only cost XXX per night so using priceline I paid more, that really upset me.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Carpet in room was filthy and room was musty.
I really liked this hotel. I was surprised because the rate was much lower than all the others in Florence or Muscle Shoals. The rooms were clean, the staff were nice. My kids had a 2 double bed room, we had a king. Both rooms had flat screen TVs, free internet and there is plenty of parking.
We went with our boat 10/11 - 10/14 2009. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the continetal breakfast had more to offer than the usual. You can plug a boat in, but if there are several fishermen, it won't work without blocking the parking lot. All in all it was a nice place to stay & pretty convenient location.
The Inn was clean and the sheets were crisp. My major issue: This is an outside access motel. Pictures on the internet give the impression that the rooms are accessed from the inside. As a single female traveler, I tend to choose accomadations with safety in mind. The outside access coupled with the desk clerk LOUDLY announcing my room number ( there were people in the lobby), with directions as to where it was located was not ideal on the safety front. Finally, the internet ad says that they allow pets. Once you arrive the pets allowed rule becomes pets 10lbs or less allowed.
The hotel was one of the worst that I have ever stayed in. I travel 9 months out of the year so I have stayed in several hotels, but very few are as big a rip off as this one was. I will never stay at the Jameson Inn again and if you're smart, you won't either.
