The age and the style/history of the palace really gave you a feeling for Florence
We were unable to get to our room when we arrived as the previous guest had not checked out we spent one night in one room and the other in our original room, i do not blame the hotel and they were as accomadating as they could be with limited rooms available.
The rooftop patio had beautiful views. The staff at the morning breakfast and the rooftop bar were very good.
We had three different hotel managers during our five night stay. One did not have the key to onlock the front door in the morning. And it took 15 minutes to locate the key. We nearly missed an appointment because of this delay. The internet did not work on the provided computer in the room. Beds were not turned down every night.
I liked the history associated with the hotel.
Everything I did not like would be considered a complaint, so I cannot offer any comment.
Beautiful setting, high painted ceiling in the room, good location, lovely roof terrace with a view of Florence - very special place.
Expensive parking - 40 euros a night, Mosquitos in the room and no protection provided, the Breakfast was small with little choice and there was a supplement for cooked breakfast - at the price of the room I would expect a cooked breakfast to be included. On the booking form it said complementary breakfast à la carte and this was not the case.
My experience was enchanting and exceeded my expectations. I was traveling solo with a teenager who didn't want to leave and stayed in the room much of the time which of course meant that she loved the ambience. I was able to enjoy down time in the various nooks of the Palazzo in truly unique surroundings.
The tea pot on the second floor had residue floating inside and appeared to be unattended to. I was able to use the other tea set up you had on the first floor. It was also unclear whether the wine and sandwiches displayed in the evening on the ground floor were complimentary.
It was a fabulous place. We had the lowest priced standard suite and still loved it. We actually looked forward to getting back to the palazzo each day. They have a lovely rooftop terrace that is always open to take advantage of the beautiful views of Florence.
Good location, helpful staff
Noisy air conditioning unit
Staff was excellent - very helpful without being intrusive. Rooms were lovely with an old-world charm. Roof-top terrace was wonderful in the afternoons and evenings. The days were quite hot, but the rooms stayed cool. The staff upgraded one of our rooms so that our family could have rooms near one another.
The hotel excelled in everyway. The inside of the building is equisite, the suites are fantastic and the staff are very attentive to every need yet are friendly at the same time. Fantastic hotel and would highly recommend it
Air conditioner units not effective
The opulence for the price. Rooms were large and excellently appointed. Very well situated for all the attractions but away from the hustle and noise
The bar prices were steep but the measures were big!
