Even though our guest house is centrally located, it is comfortably tucked away from the traffic and street noise, facing an old, typical Florentine street, and bordering a park with a nearby villa that was once owned by nobility. Il Palagetto was once the home of a prestigious family in the 600s, transformed into a small residence in the nineteenth century.A private parking area is included for exclusive use by our guests. Many parts of the home are still partly conserved in their original form, including the antique stone fired and Tuscan grit floors, and a terracotta fireplace. The rest has been completely and accurately restored with the same charm of the Florentine home as it once was. Il Palagetto, which is very bright and spacious, was at one time used as the work space for a famous Florentine art conservator, who passionately dedicated his work here to the restoration of important works of art.
