Too far from airport and ship port. Was not clean. Didn't book our shuttle when we requested it. Continental Breakfast was awful.
Staff was was friendly, WIFI was very sporadic....and had to be outside to use it. So bring a long Ethernet cable as the port may not be in an ideal location (mine was hidden behind the TV stand) . Bar was closed (by the state of Florida.....not sure why.) Close to Beach, local stores and restaurants. Not fancy....no frills....but a good value.
WIFI isn't strong ....must be outside of room (in patio area) to use. Even then it was sporadic. Parking was a little limited due to the rear parking lot losing about 10 spaces due to being flooded.
I liked the staff, the kinda retro vibe, low keyed. It was right next to the beach, just had to cross the A1A. Bar right there, free breakfast. Lauderdale by the Sea is more relaxed than Ft. Lauderdale and they didn't allow spring breakers in so there was never loud noise. I would highly recommend this hotel.
It was all fine. It isn't luxury by any means so if you like super fancy, this isn't the place. Other than that, it was perfect.
Customer service was horrible. I damaged by vehicle on the building because there were no signs warning me of a sharp turn. When I asked for help the staff was rude. When I asked for assistance from the manager over the phone he made excuses for his staff and refused to help with expenses to fix my vehicle.
Nothing that we liked, my wife wanted to leave immediately and couldn't wait to leave, we travel the world, but this hotel is no three star, may be less than one.
Nothing. I could not wait to check out.
Nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. the room I was transferred to had the A.C. off. I had the front desk figure out the connection. the room did not cool off until after 3 A.M.
It is a "nothing special hotel", next to a very busy road. Luckily my room was not noisy.
Maybe the breakfast is a little boring after a few days. Also the wireless had problems in my room.
The staff were very pleasant & helpful. The hotel was in a prime location and we could use two beaches. One was within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance and the 'Fort Lauderdale Beach' was 5 - 10 minutes on the bus. There were a great choice of restaurants in the area too.
The hotel was located across the street from the beach which was easily accessible. Many restaurants and clubs were nearby. Staff was helpful when we were in need of cab service. The bathroom, although small, had been recently renovated.
The hotel is in need of updating. Many things were outdated. We felt the room was overpriced, although we were there during high season.
