Water didn't go down when I took a shower! Absolute worst feeling especially a long day at the beach. Structure a little out dated. Rooms a little gloomy.
Close to beach. Very friendly and experience staff.
It was close to the beavh
Staff was not friendly, housekeeping did not come around daily.
It was clean enough to sleep comfortable but it reminds me of old Florida hotel. Good location!
Paper thin walls, dark rooms, parking was awful, parked my car in an alley and my car was egged.
Luis was the cream of the crop. He went above and beyond the call of duty. It was a pleasure dealing with him and the staff at Sea Club.
Service was horrible the blond lady at the front desk was rude, impatient, not accommodating did not live up to arrangements that were made. Everything is very dated needs lots of work, bathrooms are not good, fixtures leak and are loose. Bar is the best thing about the place Chris, and Ruis were only nice people here would never stay here again nor recommend this place. We travel a lot and understand how things work this place is dis functional. If people were nice would make a difference, there were 8 of us all with the same opinion
Oceanview hotels at a reasonable price difficult to come by. This property well located for walking about the beach and Ft Lauderdale beach commercial district. However the lobby and bedroom needed an update. The room had dark plum walls and mirrors was spacious enough. Had very small balcony overlooking the dumsters across the street. The bathroom was the problem with high intensity globes over the mirror, which were so hot that you couldn't get close enough to see your shaving. Tub and curtain very worn and room layed out poorly. Getting around the property from the room was very difficult with elevators not reaching the room floor directly from the lobby. The staff were quite friendly and they had a nice basket of apples on the counter for your consumption. Had breakfast at their "deck" restaurant not worth it.
Rooms were small. No soundproofing, so we could hear everything in the room next to us. Clock didn't work. Facilities were old. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!
The Deck restaurant is fantastic, both food and view. Great staff. Helpful staff. Right on the beach, with towels and beach chairs provided.
Maintenance, especially missing tiles outside and screws and minor leaks in the bathroom.
Location right on the beach, restaurant staff were wonderful, bellman, Luis, was a 5-star hotel employee in a 2-star hotel! Great price for being right on the beach. Shower had best water pressure I've ever experienced in a hotel.
Air conditioning was spotty--sometimes 75 degrees felt like 65 and 71 degrees felt like 80. Also, the vent wouldn't stay in place, so the cold air would blow towards the floor--had to stuff a wad of tissue into the bottom slot to direct the air upwards. Also, lots of minor repairs necessary--doorknob falling off the bathroom, paint peeling in bathroom. Some front desk employees were great, but some seemed disinterested, but not awful. They do have a silly charge "for the safe." Not sure why that's not just wrapped into the room rate--who wants to be charged for a safe in the room?? Housekeeping was easily the WORST I've ever seen. Sand, dirt, hair in the bathroom when we arrived, they never emptied the trash in the 2 days we were there, never replaced shampoo conditioner we had run out of. All they did was change the towels & make the beds.
