The personal are professional and very polite.
The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great.
Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great.
Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool.
Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
Friendly staff,clean,close to beach.
Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again.
My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
Rooms are stylish, well concepted and executed. Baths and beds and interior design is well done. Rooms have great views and are quiet. This hotel and the W are the two best hotels in Fort Lauderdale and this is a great value. Close to restaurants and the beach.
Slight access issues, but once you've stayed there you figure it out and its fine, the location offsets any access challenges.
View and location
Rooms are starting to run down already - maids screaming in the hallway - room not very clean
The room and overall appearance; ocean view rooms.
Outrages parking cost.
Location, location, location! Across from the beach, the view was spectacular. The staff, well I could spend the whole review on. They were perfect. Sonesta should be the yardstick for excellence. From one end of service to the other, they were unchanged. They must be well taken care of because they take great care of the guests. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. It is the hotel I will choose for my future vacations as there are plenty to choose from and left me feeling like I actually had a vacation in spite of my hectic schedule.
I have NO complaints. They exeeded my expectations.
Overall we had a great experience at the Sonesta. Very clean and stylish rooms, view was great (booked curve) decent gym and friendly staff.
Asked for assistance in booking an Everglades day trip, was told by front desk they would give a ring back but failed to do so. (We actually found a great restaurant called the Royal Pig on Las Olas blvd, the waiter introduced us to a fellow who chartered trips, so worked out well for us. Beach x the street, rough crossing with construction and traffic
I didn't like that I had to wait at minimum a half an hour for them to find my reservation . I also didn't like for the room to be a junior suite it was very small and uncomfortable . For the amount of money spenr s basic room at the Marriott was much more comfortable .
Brand new everything. Best pillows anywhere.
