Natasha, the girl at the Reception Desk was extremely helpful. Not bad for the money.
We liked it because it was clean and comfortable.
I didn't like that on the day we checked out the housekeeping came to the door at 10 AM and when I asked what time check out was she told me 10, 11, 12. I asked her which one and she repeated it as she rolled her eyes at me. She finally told me 12 noon.It was clean, the staff was pleasant (except for the housekeeping incident I mentioned) but the front desk greeted us every time we went through. The location was good.
Nice and clean and comfortable
the air conditioning was at 60 freezingVery nice and slept well.
Location and cleanliness
NoOver all great experience I would stay there again
Hotel was surprisingly nice. Was impressed with the room and the beds were so extremely comfortable.
Was a little difficult to find at first. The sign along the road wasn't easy to see.Overall loved the hotel and wished our stay was longer. Was very impressed with the inside of the hotel. The rooms were great and had all the amenities one could need and then some. Had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a hair dryer. The room was very clean and oh so comfortable.
The breakfast server was friendly.
shower mildew, broken door boltThere was mildew (quite a bit) in the shower grout. This was pointed out to the breakfast server (who asked pointedly how our rooms were and said he had been tasked by the mgr to do so) and he said he would have it cleaned for us...didn't happen. I told the desk that our room's bolt was not working (myself, a female and my daughter were staying on the first floor) and they said they'd have someone repair it that day. It also didn't happen.
Frig didn't work. Patches bathroom ceiling. Unfinished hole around sprinkler in ceiling.
Bed and bathroom clean.
Under renovation. Converting a sad conference room into restaurant is a bad idea, unless you are serving complementary breakfast. TIP to management: free breakfast would make everyone happy in a hotel under renovation.Under renovation. Clean bed and bath. Overpriced. Historic? I'm wonder how that is relevant and why Holiday Inn includes that term in the name of this hotel.
It is located downtown as described. It has a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot. This hotel was located downtown on a very busy street. The hotel is currently renovating it's bar/grille area so that is a mess. There is a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot. The staff is very friendly. The room however, was not that great. The floors are tiled and the walls paper thin so you can hear everything. Our curtians had holes (large gashes) in them and we were on the ground level right by the pool. If anyone wanted to they could have seen right into our room! Our air conditioner sounded like the engine of a plane every time it came on. There is only a half glass shower, the other half is a curtain that doesn't reach the floor so water goes everywhere. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are horrible! If we were staying for an extended period of time I would have picked a different hotel.
Convenient location and the bartender was ver friendly and helpful
The gal at the front desk was more interested in being on her phone than being friendly to the customer
