Located within five miles of Paul Brown Stadium, Great American Ballpark, Northern Kentucky Convention Center, Duke Energy Convention Center, and Macys Headquarters, this lodging facility offers many amenities, including a seasonal outdoor pool, complimentary outdoor parking, complimentary wireless Internet access and free light breakfast. Pros:If I could have moved I would have.
Cons:The hotel room was dirty. Our door to the was open when we arrived. We asked to change rooms and they would not accommodate us. The bathroom was filthy. I told them about the mold and it was never cleaned. There were no stoppers in the sink or bathtub so they couldn’t be used to hold water. the shower head had mold on it.
Pros:It was close to downtown Cincinnati.
Cons:Desk clerk accused me of smoking pot in room to keep room deposit and when I argued he called the police. I'm probably going to retain counsel.
Cons:The first night we were there, our water never got warm for showers. There were three in my party and only two towels. The morning "continental breakfast" was pitiful. When we returned to our room on the evening on the second day, our bedspreads had been haphazardly thrown over the beds and the bathroom was untouched. No new towels, etc. Water for showers still cold. When we returned to our room on the evening of the third day, not only was the bathroom still untouched, but our beds were unmade still, too. I don't expect turndown service for the rate we paid, but I don't think it's asking too much for wet towels to be removed and fresh ones left. And make up the beds!!!!
Cons:Hotel was old. Had peeling paint in bathroom and bedroom. Holes in walls in lobby. Ceiling in hallway was water stained.
Cons:After driving almost 10 hours, our reservation was not honored because the hotel was under renovations and had no rooms available. Then began the complicated process of trying to get reimbursed for my reservation, which I was told I would have to take care of myself because the hotel told Kayak not to make any more reservations, so it wasn't the hotel's fault. After that hassle, I had to try to find another hotel room last minute at midnight. It was ok, though, because the place looked like a murder palace and I was a little concerned for my safety. None of the renovation information was on the description, and I was extremely inconvenienced by this whole process.
Pros:It was most certainly cheap and with Oktoberfest happening there weren't a lot of options.
Cons:Holy hell that is one trashy roachtell. From being handed a physical key for a deadbolt (the card reader didn't work on our door) to our first room not having working AC that had electrical burns on the wall from the socket.
