It's a beautiful building in a quiet and attractive street, very close to the city center. The room was spacy and very clean. There's wooden floor on the entire building and the heating system is excellent. The personnel was kind and helpful.
The cosy and homestyle ambience. Its a very recommendable hotel especially für businesswomen who have to travel all by themselves.
I felt very welcome and comfortable
The hotel is in a quite area yet close to the public transportation into the city center. The room was clean and the floors are hardwood.
There is no lift.
The hotel was very pleasant. I enjoyed the large bathroom. The breakfast was good.
Close to the Frankfurter Messe (max 10 minutes walk). Nice street. Fresh breakfast.
There was not as much of an 'artsy' atmosphere as I has imagined. Due to lack of elevator the luggage had to be brought to the room by taking the stairs. Breakfast area small and quiet.Small TV.
Walked and enjoyed the residentail character of buildings from 1900's, followed the recommendation of my host to one of 6-7 restaurants within 150 m walk. Trees in bloom along the residential streets very relaxing The Italian restaurant "Elba" was w/ linen and stem ware, excellent food ambiance; a compliment to my stay at Art Mayer Hotel.
A lift/dumbwaiter for my heavy baggage traveling from L.A. to Riyadh would have been very helpfull up the three floors.
The place (old private palace, each room having own style, developed by designer) does creates the athmosphere of being close to the art, comfort and privacy. The location is a 10-min walk distance to the Messe (!!!!) that is really an advantage to visitors or exibitors; the same it's easy and quick to get to the centre by foot. The most remarkable for me was the personnel who do care about you. Special thanks to the managing couple who are the part and the support of the unique athmospere; the best company when you need it being alone and first in the city and the best guides around Frankfurt. Want to be back to stay for leasure and to have a nice chat with the people again. Thank you again from Ukraine.
Delightful hotel in a charming part of town. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful.
Be aware that there's no elevator. The spiral staircase can be difficult to navigate with baggage (although staff do help).
