Staff was very friendly Parking was free Location was near airport
The breakfast was not free
The Spanish staff member the man of of Indian descent was very rude and and degrading to subordinates.
The bloody bloody mattress.Embeded Smokey smell. Looks like a run down abandon motel. Just plain old and utterly disgusting!The hotel was quite disgusting I believe the local shelter has a higher cleaning standard. THE smell of drugs and cigarettes that greets you at your non smoking room is impeccable. I actually took pictures of the recently saturated bloody mattress as evidence of why I deserved a full refund. PLEASE PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND STAY AT THE CANDLEWOOD SUITES.
We decided to leave after the first night. Lots of fighting into the morning hours in neighboring rooms. The staff, after much conversation, refunded those days we didn't use.
Shady characters all around. Not a great location. Middle of the night fighting. I should have read the reviews better about this being the case. Not a good place. Got the feeling there would be hourly rates available.We left after the first night because of not feeling safe. Intensely so. It was extremely unnerving, and we got no sleep that night. We were in fear for our vehicle as well as ourselves. The management was nice and came out all through the night to try to calm the ruckus. We could hear the, But it would start back up again. One got the feeling this was not unusual. Not a good spot for us. We went to the Best Western in Evanston for our last two evenings and it was great. Wish I had better things to say, but I really don't. Avoid.
Staff very friendly and helpfulGood location close to O'hare airport. Very good restaurants just in front and around the hotel.
Price and location. There is a restaurant across the parking lot.
No coffee maker in room.It served our purposes of just needing a place to sleep at low cost and convenient location. It's basic and not pretty (bathroom sink was cracked and patched, no stopper), but seems clean and the managers seem to be trying to keep the place reasonably nice. They were in the process of remodeling the lobby area. There is no coffee maker in the room, but there is a restaurant across the parking lot.
Good price; Convenient for food and shopping; Good traffic to downtown;
nothing special on this issue.Good experience in this hotel, easy access to anywhere: airport, walmart, target, downtown. Recommend for budget travel.
Very nice place,near to airport and definitely worth the money! Highly recommended
Not much stores or restaurants nearby,Its worth the money u spend, nice service,decent wifi
Close to downtown. Very nice looking room. Fairly spacious. Decent sized closet. Nice clean bathroom.
The beds were very firm and there were not enough pillows.We came to Chicago to see a game and then spend the night and attend Shedd the next day. The trip to and from downtown was not that bad. My wife was unsure when I told her we got a motel. When we got to the room she was very pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. The AC was nice and cold and pumped out at a good speed. Our room was a non smoking room and I was worried it would smell of smoke regardless. Even though the room next to us was smoking, our room did not have any odor at all. The room overall was very clean. The only real complaint I have is the beds being very firm and the pillows being a bit small and not having enough. Though I did realize that we should'v packed some of our own. Overall our room exceeded our expectations and we would visit again.
There were teenage prostitutes, and what would presumably be their pimps, throughout the parking lot once nightfall hit. The floors were filthy, and after seeing the parking lot situation, I couldnt help but wonder what other critters were in the room.The hotel was dirty. The air didnt work. There was a mass of teenage prostitution,and their pimps in the parking lot throughout the night. This hotel was not at all as described. Hot, dirty, uncomfortable, no locks on the door, and highly illegal activity in the parking lot. One of the worst hotels my husband, and I have ever stayed in. We obviously highly recommend that you take this hotel off of your listings, unless you are trying to cater to people looking for teenage prostitutes.
