The house sits on the front of a 92 acre farm, on the edge of the Jones-Johnson Historic District. Our farm has many trails for hiking/biking. The trails are, at times, rugged; you will need boots/long pants, especially if it's rained. There're short paths to the farm gate for walking your dogs. We are always happy to watch wildlife come into the yard. You can birdwatch, wander country paths, and see all the animals and plants, yet be within walking distance of cafes and shops. Spa services of all kinds are available as part of a room pkg. You'll find world-class theater, music, and museums mins. away. We are about 12 mins to Apex/Cary, and many huge, new shopping centers, as well as antique shops. We're 5 mins to Holly Springs/the new Bass Lake Recreation and Boating facility. You can be at the NC Zoo in about 1 hour, and the beach in just over 2 hours. We are conveniently located 20 mins off I-40, a straight shot down NC 42 (Fuquay-Varina/Clayton exit). There are 4 rooms to choose from-call to see what's available before you book on line, as you may want one of the rooms not shown on line. If you see no avail., call in case we've had a cancellation. The rooms include the Honeymoon mini Suite (Bride's room). The downstairs is handicapped-friendly, including the bath. Each room has an oversized, super-deluxe Queen mattress for perfect sleep. We offer homemade goodies including our fresh honey and complimentary honey soap (all organic), and a well-stocked kitchen for 24/7 snacks.Owners reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or person.
