Cons:My first room was really bad. I walked on the carpet in bare feet and my feet were sticky afterward! I woke up in the night smelling a foul odor and it turned out to be my pillow! The lights above the sink didn't work so the bathroom was kind of dark which was a bigger problem than I would have thought. The shower was a handheld sprayer that would not stay in a position pointing away from the wall so I had to hold it the whole time - not a huge deal but annoying. I stayed the night in this room and spoke to a manager the next morning. He offered to put me in a suite which I thought was nice. Unfortunately I got to the suite and while most of the issues with the first room were not present, the room smelled really bad - I think it was the air conditioner. I was supposed to stay three nights but checked out after two and moved to a different hotel. I don't travel for business a ton but when I do I prefer Hamptons because they're consistently clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. I have never had an experience like this before at a Hampton or any other hotel for that matter. Disappointed.
