Clean, friendly staff, nice pool and gym
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Bathroom floor was not clean - closet was too small and hallway into room too narrowRestaurant breakfast was disappointing
The hotel staff were very helpful. Hotel is in a very good location and very clean.
Clean rooms, decent workout area and a nice pool.
Contemporary, updated room, cleanliness,Polite Front desk personnel. Good experienceGood business hotel
Nothing; The hotel was way over priced and on the floor I was staying on ran out of water. The ice machine room stink like dirty diapers. How unsanitary to not leave soap inside the hotel room. One bar of soap is not going to last 4 days and 3 nights.
The maid was terrible at best. This is not a 3 or 4 star hotel. No whirlpool. Bathroom was very small. No room. The staff was not very professional. They had water in the lobby but they didn't have any cups available.
The fact that I was charged twice for my room and still no resolution!
The staff, especially the Hotel Employee at the counter was friendly and even apologetic for the wait time to check in since there was a line. The room was very clean and always kept that way by housekeeping.
No microwave in the room
The room was comfortable and a bit more updated than other Crowne Plazas.
The location is awful. There's really not much around and the outside of the hotel looks very, very drab. Buyer Beware you will about 10 piggy banks to travel to and from 355. There are tolls after tolls
Room was clean and updated. Great location.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Truly the best part of the hotel
Felt old and dingy - like an old office building that had been converted into a hotel. Also, there were no flyers in the lobby regarding nearby attractions. The bathrooms were uncomfortably small, and the shower heads were placed really low.
Location was too far from destination.
Very clean and comfortable beds. Very quiet despite location on busy road. Friendly staff.
The TV internet connection was a problem but got it fixed right awaySmall bathroom but adequate
Nice hotel, friendly staff.
A little dated; difficult to get into parking lot from one direction. I had car trouble, and the staff wasn't able to offer any sort of assistance.
It's a tired, over-priced Holiday Inn.Phone didn't work in the first room or the second room. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant needed more refreshing. They brought me fresh eggs, but I shouldn't have had to ask.
The room was very small and the bed's were supposed to be queen size but seemed like twin beds and we're very hard.
I LIKED WHAT WAS UPDATED. AND THE LADIES AT THE FRONT DESK WERE VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT
THE ROOM WAS VERY DRAFTY AND DRY. ONE OF US ENDED UP SICK AFTER OUR STAY.
for overnight business travel cannot beat the value. Minutes from anything you need.
The staff complied with my request to be away from primary hallway traffic.
Very dated decorating, furnishings, musty/dusty smelling elevator, stained worn carpet throughout. It is not adjacent to any services (restaurants, fast food, even coffee!).
Clean and decent location. Big pool. Nice workout area.
The beds are a bit firm. No breakfast offered.
Nice location. .. good restaurant. .. Staff are nice
Small cramped room. . Tiny tub. . Superficial upgrades.. uncomfortable bed... Old holiday inn with a mask
the location, right on main drag, nice pool, room was clean, and newer tv, only 4 levels,
no hot tub, no mico-wave in room, no free breakfeast,
Plenty of parking. Next to subway and McDonald's and white castle are near. They are open 24 hours. You can connect to Internet through wifi or ether net cable
Sad to say the room I stayed in had bed bugs. Room 314. I take sleeping medicine so did not realize until I woke up. Covered in bites. I asked to speak with me and they were not available. She said sorry to me and told me re will be fumigated.
Dated property in need of an update. Hallway carpets worn. Overall did not have a clean feel to the property.
It had a nice gym. Parking was easy and plentiful. It appeared to be clean. The price was good.
A lamp was turning off and on by itself till we removed the bulb. Our smoke alarm kept sounding at night till removed. The advertised free breakfast cost us $48. There was no waitress so we took silverware from a nearby table and get coffee from lobby.
The woman Mary at the front desk was very nice and polite. Very helpful with my questions.
The room had a musty smell and bathtub was not very clean. The air did not work in there either. it was very damp in the room. Loud children running up and down the hotel hallway. My husband and I left at 10p.m. what should have been a date night for us.
Tha large chair in the room.
Distance from place of business.
It was no where a standard crowne plaza standard. Very bad
The front desk girls were very nice
We wanted a hotel near the Oak Brook Illinois mall and there were about 20 hotels near the mall and we were sent to this one which was about 15 minutes away! We were for the first time disappointed in Priceline!
The pic that were shown of priceline were not of the room that be got.I will never work with priceline again.
I did not like the fact that priceline showed pics of the room that we did not get.
Really convenient to my work needs
SMOKE SMELL IN ROOMS!!! I moved and both rooms had smoke smell that seemed to be embedded into the furniture & carpeting. The rooms facing Roosevelt road were extremely noisy from traffic.
Whole reason to stay was pool, pool was closed! Rooms clean but small and old looking
The bed was comfortable.
There's no way this should be a 3.5 star property.
Room was pretty clean. Bed was comfortable
Loud party in lobby after 1am, people wandering halls with alcohol, doors open with loud talking and drinking in rooms and hall after 1am.
They had a group of people staying on the 3-rd floor and they were so load, i didst get to sleep until 3am or later. No security staff no one cared, all I got was 'I'm sorry' after calling the font desk. Don't ever want to stay there again.
Loud hallways. Wasn't able to check in until 1 hour after time published
We had the room at the end of the hall next to the corner room and the wall was paper thin. They had small screaming children. We'd asked for a quiet zone, as we had to be up for an event at 5:45. Was not conducive to sleeping.
It was good enough for an overnight stay for business, rooms were small. Bathroom tiny, staff at desk were friendly. Overall the feel of the place was more motel, but I stayed on the first floor. I ordered from the restaurant room service and it was tasty. I wondered how some things were when more crowded, like I had to call several times b4 someone answered, and I felt the parking lot was a bit small. I would go again for the same purpose but would not stay here for vacation.
The hotel from the outside looks very simple, but once you are inside, the lobby in nicely decorated, as well as the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was good and the staff was excellent. When the power went out the hotel was not helpful. Even the phones would not work without the electricity. When I finally made it to the lobby the complimentary coffee was gone and the attitude was I was just out of luck. The restaurant only had a breakfast buffet ($15.00) on Sat. AM and it was not possible to get a simple less expensive breakfast. I expected the Crown Plaza to be a lot more accommodating. We could not use the internet, etc. I know the power outage was not their fault and most people slept through it but for those of us who experienced anxiety and inconvenience due to it, the hotel should had been more gracious. Thanks
I had a great stay while in Lombard for The Expressions 2011 Hair Hair Show I attended. It was not that far from The Yorktown Westin Plaza a mere six or so minutes away from The Crown Plaza. The room was very clean and quiet. I rested very well everynight of my stay. The Restaurant/Lounge staff were very friendly and saw that I was comfortable and the food I had while there was very good and beautifully presented. I will stay there the next time I have a Hair show in the area of Lombard again.
Newly remodeled, easy access to highway, restaurant on site....very nice and worth the savings from spending more money downtown!!
This is a very comfortable hotel. Everything was new and in good taste. Spotlessly clean, very gracious staff. We especially liked their 'green' commitment. Their restaurant uses as many local products as possible, and even has a gluten-free menu. Very impressive! The only thing we noticed was that the air conditioning in the hallways was turned way too cold – a great waste of energy for a hotel that wants to be environmentally aware.
This was our second stay at this Crowne Plaza. The rooms are large, nice. Very comfortable bed. In the vending area is a free cold water dispenser with filtered water that was a nice touch. Best part: when we checked in we noticed some noisy kids in the next room that we could hear from the hall. Once in the room, we could hear nothing. Sweet. We will stay here again.
This hotel is totally updated and beautiful. We stayed in a Sleep Advantage room and it was so quiet it was like being the only people in the building. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was the nicest place I think we have ever stayed and I would give it 5 stars and highly recommend it to everyone. They even give you a sleep CD to help you relax.
