Good service Valet and Front desk were friendly and responsive Rooms well kept
Rooms could be updated but no real complaints.
Woke everyone up at 7am because of construction! Super frustrating!
Location wasn't too bad, 30 min of traffic to get to the tourist attractions (Hollywood etc) Its a decent location if your going to the studios to see some shows etc. Griffith observatory is close, and Hollywood hills.
Our AC didn't work multiple times, had to constantly reset the thermostat which the tech showed us how to do so we didn't have to keep calling and waiting. Parking is pricey for being outside the main city areas. Hotel was pretty loud, could hear people in the bathroom clear as day next to ours. The staff was friendly, just felt that the hotel was dated and poorly constructed. We stayed in several hotels along our Hwy 1 road trip, this was my least favorite. The description also says mini bar, but don't be fooled because there is no fridge and they want to charge you to bring you one even though the room clearly use to have fridges they just removed them to make a little extra money.
We enjoyed the full buffet breakfast, working out in the on site workout center, and swimming in the pool. It was convenient to be able to rent a car right in the lobby, and to be able to take the shuttle back and forth to the airport. The staff were knowledgable, helpful, and friendly, and our room was very clean. This hotel was in a good area, close to restaurants and the mall, and had easy access to the freeways.
I didn't like that parking was an extra $19 fee per night. I also didn't like that the buffet breakfast was an extra fee. The dinner in the hotel restaurant had a limited menu and was expensive.
Gym was nice
-- $20.00 for parking, per night. -- $4 for coffee in the lobby / restaurant -- Lobby is nice / acceptable, but the rest of the hotel is very outdated -- Room interior and hallways are outdated -- Cleaning workers begin cleaning hallways at 7AM
Rooms need a renovation they are very dated. The lobby is nice but the rooms need makeovers. My key did not work a couple of times, I was locked out of my room for an hour while I waited on someone to come and fix. Also the phones in the rooms do not work. I tried to set up a wake up call and the phone just kept ringing. When i pressed the button for the front desk I got the restaurant who then switched me to the front desk who set up my wake up call. Very inefficient.
good pric. Location. Mountain View.the stuff were friendly.
When I arrived to the Hilton hotel wasn't anyone hold my baggage. Also, air-conditioner was very hot and I couldn't change it. I couldn't sleep very well. When l woke up I was sweating.!!!. A breakfast was only 4 types and they cook badly. parking was a $19 per day. Honestly, I don't recommend this hotel for anyone.
Breakfast/ location/ cleanliness/ staff
Less supply of shampoo/conditioner
...nothing. We had a sewage leak in our room. (not good) The pool was freezing and dirty. (not good) The air conditioning didn't work in the room. (not good)
We checked into the hotel - saw a wetspot - didn't think anything of it until the next day when we got back to the room and the wet spot was HUGE and the room smelled like complete sewage. It was disgusting. DISGUSTING. We called the front desk and they immediately changed our rooms - didn't seem like they wanted to talk about it - I think they knew they had a problem in the room. The pool was kind of gross (my daughter didn't want to swim in it because there was a lot of dirt) - it was also freezing - and the air conditioning in our original room didn't work. I liked the location. The people who work there were friendly - it seemed like a great place for our needs (we wanted quick access to the fashion district without staying downtown) - but unfortunately I could not recommend this hotel.
Good workout area
Expensive parking. Limited eating options
Super convenient location. Close to everything--shopping, freeways. Lots of entertainment (though this was primarily a business trip). Staff is great. Clean and comfortable.
Only minor complaint was the remote for the TV was malfunctioning. Expect to pay $20-30 for parking per night.
Location is great. Really close to Americana mall. Brand Ave was great for walking. My wife enjoyed the stay while i went to work. Room was clean. We had 7th floor. Awesome view. My 8 month daughter sat by the window everyday for hours enjoying the view. Bell desk staff were friendly, same as parking and restaurant.
Front desk were rude. She was nice to a frequent guests, but really short and rude with me. Maybe cuz I'm not Caucasian. I wish i remember her name. Breakfast was ok. For 210 a night, no breakfast include, i was expecting a better breakfast. Dinner was expensive. We had to eat there one night cuz my daughter refused to sit in the carseat. Our bill for 2 people was 90. Too expensive for ok food. Cleaning staff just entered our room without knocking, daily. Really rude. No knocking at all
Breakfast, very clean room, great staff and the location
Paid for Parking
Good price on a 3 day stay(1 nite free).
Self parking was $19 per night, too much.
We paid for a king-size bed and got a Queen. When I brought this up with the front desk they said their king-sized beds were small, and that was that. No sure if it was actually their "king" or of they just didn't want to deal with me, but I would have liked to be treated with some friendliness, even if there was no alternative.
