The rooms were clean and mostly up to date. Everyone I intera with at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
I was under the impression that this location had a work out facility and it did not. The hallways were slightly dirty and outdated.
The room size was acceptable. We left before the complimentary breakfast, but coffee was available.
There were a lot of people smoking at the entrance morning and night during our stay. Parking lot was a bit small near the entrance. Smokers outside made the elevators smell of smoke, as well as the hallways. Only one computer in the middle of the lobby, a bit annoying with all the traffic of people coming and going. I would not likely stay here again.
Staff was nice for the most part. Room was clean.
AC had a motion sensor that caused it to shut-off during our absence (about 4 hours). It had taken over 2 hours to get it down to 73 as of when we left. When we returned the room was about 77 degrees. During the night it shut off at least twice, though that might have just been breaks as it cycled. Either way, in the morning it was still 70 in the room despite setting the thermostat on 65 when we arrived the previous afternoon. The door was not flush (or level) and light could be seen through from both sides. This also allowed extra sound from the hallway to enter the room. The only hot item at breakfast was make your own waffles. Overall the spread was pretty lackluster. Location seems to be on the edge of a not-so-great area. There is another one up the street about 1mi that would have only been a bit more to stay at and looked years newer, as well as being much better located. Staff did not slide a receipt under the door (room was pre-paid) or offer one at checkout. (To be fair, we didn't ask either, but I would think this would be pretty common to at least offer one. Every other hotel we stayed at placed one under the door the morning of check-out.)
