Great central location.
Very no frills. Stayed three days room. Linens changed once. Room not cleaned every day. Old tv in room.
Clean and friendly
stopper in sink didnt work
It was an interesting building, and it was obvious it was once a very grand hotel. The pool and hot tub were lovely. We ordered from room service and the food was quite good. We got the wrong type of room at first and this was quickly fixed.
The wi-fi didn't work at all the first night, and only a little the second night. The beds felt very old---they creaked badly every time you moved! Everything felt overall a bit dingy---not really dirty but not really clean.
Very nice place with an older elegance. The rooms were large and comfortable. The pool is very nice and there are two restaurants in the hotel. There's a lovely park right across the street. The location is on a pretty street near several restaurants.
The bathrooms were adequate but small. The lovely older/ antique furnishings concerned me when young children were around.
Beautiful traditional hotel -- clean, comfortable and quiet.
Bathroom was somewhat dated -- but this did not detract from the overall positive experience.
Large rooms, high ceiling, convenient location in a small, quiet town. If you do not want to get mixed with crowd in Lake George or Saratoga Spriings in Summer, this is your place. Helpfull staff. Nice pool. Very comfortable lobby. Restaurant is good.
Needs some updates. Not good for those who are looking for new or modenized accommdations.
Great place to visit with a dog! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the room service was awesome. Great dog friendly park across the street. Can't wait to go back and use the pool. Pups get a little treat when they stop by the front desk :-)
Hotel employee understands what real customer service is, going above and beyond to find us a larger room than the one we had occupied for a couple of nights earlier in the week. He was GREAT. Hotel employee in Fenimore's was MOST accommoda
Hotel was centrally located and had free parking.
Hotel decor looks dated. The beds are ancient and smell of wet graham cracker. They're about as uncomfortable as they sound.
Location. Clean room. In-room coffee.
Room was quite small.
Nothing, the rating for this hotel should be 0 or less. Do not subject your family to this outdated musty smelling old hotel. My wife and daughter will no longer allow me to book hotels. WE left half hour after check in. Still waiting for refund.
Hotel was as not as described. It appears that this hotel is also used as a rooming house. The matresses are old sagging and the end of there usefull life. Room furniture also appear to be dated and should be put to the curb.
Very old and not well kept. Bathroom was terrible. Windows had poor shades. The pool was filled with junk. The parking lot was a long ways away from the front check in desk. Hotel was NOT A 3-STAR HOTEL
I liked the room and the hotel was very nice also.
There was no refrigerator in the room. Ice was on the first floor only.
This hotel should not be listed as a 3 star, 2 stars perhaps.
It was near our intended location
The rooms are old and tired. There are not modern conveniences such as microwave and refrigerator. The food in the restaurant was very disappointing.
The old history, the staff.
There was an old musty smell.
Pool was clean
Room could've been cleaner, it was set up weird. breakfast was very select
great location and parking. Nice big windows to let the sun in. comfortable beds. free wi-fi
i love this old hotel but it is in need of a face lift.... breakfast was standard continental fare, mostly sugar. They used to have a real restaurant for breakfast.
The desk staff was friendly Lounge and staff was great
Overall appearance dirty, room hallway& pool area very disappointed!
Absolutely nothing. Not a 3 star. Would be a 1 star
Sheets had holes in them and were wrinkled like they'd already been used; the room appeared like it was last decorated in the 1920s and not maintained since. Staff at check in and check out were rude and unwelcoming
Good location, price is ok for the room.
A lots of noise, Christmas party going on all evening and late at night. Very small room with no fridge, only one chair...not very nice and pretty old.
It was clean
a tiny room on the third floor of a brick building in the center of town. nothing like a 'motel'. We missed the hospitality of a breakfast or at least a hot coffee in the lobby. it was more like a 'hotel'
Its a fine hotel downtown near lots of shops and restaurants. I like it because its not right next to a busy highway like most places. Its also within walking distance to many places which is nice after a long drive.
Its old and dated. At one time you can tell it was a grand hotel but not now. They are renovating so it may return to its former glory.
older building in town.
seemed a bit run-down to qualify as a 3-star, more like a tired 2-star...small roomlittle space for luggagechilly in the bathroomnot enough electrical sockets for 21st century
This was once a 'Grand Dame' of a hotel years ago and one can see what it used to be like.
The Queen has lost its historic charm. Our room was small with a tiny bathroom and ancient fixtures.
The hotel was within walking distance of the Civic Ctr, which was where I was planning on spending most of my time in Glens Falls
The desk clerk was confounded when I asked for a checkout document showing zero balance. That's standard at all hotels, and he thought I was being demanding and unreasonable in asking for it.
The room was small and bathroom tiny. To bed sink in the middle so my wife and I were crowded all night and my back started aching because of this. There was only a single blanket, turn the heat up and that was way too noisy.
not enough pillows and no blankets really. We called the main desk and they sent up these rubbery kind of things.
Everything but the rooms The beds r horrible Great Pool
Staff were very helpful and accomodating
bed was old, soft and pillows were extremely soft.
It's location near the park and downtown area.
When I made the reservation I was quoted a price of $--- for the two nights. At check-in the person behind the desk did not appear to have my reservation. I got the type of room requested but when checking out, they bill was for $--- $---. per night
nothing much, didnt seem to be the standard of Marriot as promised. Old but ok size of room.
that the windows dont open, very stuffy and very noisy a-c
The carpet in the room was dirty and the mattresses squeaked and did not fit the bed frames.
The indoor pool is perfect and responds our demande. The location is also good in the downtown.
The room including bathroom and facilities are too old. In our room there is only one chair. No sofa no other chairs for sit.
I liked the old architecture, and the accommodating staff. The indoor pool was nice as well.
Rooms don't come with a fridge or microwave. Wasn't a big deal for us and we knew that going in, but that is standard in most hotel rooms, so should be provided at this level.
The lobby is beautifful.
Too old for the room. The mattress is horrible. It was creak all the time. The carpet was dirty. Internet doesn't work. It's not the good place.
the room smelt of smoke they offered us another room but it had a stale smell
Not clean at all. Was paying way too much for such a room. When it wasn't even in a probe location.
The hotel was in a great location.
The room was very disappointing. It lacked maintenance. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. The shower door was rusty and had poorly maintained grout. The faucet dripped continuously and the old air conditioning system was very noisy.
nothing.....except staff were quite helpful
no morning breakfast available, no room service available it was not good for my parents they had to carry dishes to the room from the restaurant, that was shameful and ridiculous.
no fridge-no microwave-no breakfast includ-no ice machine...
The staff was friendly and helpful.
We were surprised that the room we were given was in such poor condition compared to others we've had before.Carpets were dirty, one bed was came off its frame, luckily the other was fine! The rubber mat in the bathroom was covered in mold.
Comfortable, clean, friendly staff: convenient location. We stayed only one night but look forward to a return. Pub in hotel offers drinks and good food, for a late afternoon break. We lliked the spaciousness of the lobby and comfort of the seating arrangement for a Sunday morning mewspaper read.
We were only in town one night to see a show at the nearby civic center; the hotel looked cute on line, was within walking distance and had free parking. Our room was clean and quaint, a corner room with two windows, one of which offered a nice view towards the mountains. The only downside was the position of the bed, which was oddly close to the door, but I think this was unavoidable to a certain extent because of the aforementioned windows.
This is a very nice old hotel with tons of character. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The hotel itself was beautiful. Located in downtown Glens Falls, it was a nice walk to several restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would go there again. Good value for the money.
The rooms are unremarkable, except for the fact that they are clean and kept clean during your entire stay. The hotel could use some updating with regards to decor, and the TV in the room was really old but it worked.\nYou cannot beat the price or the location of the Queensbury. Did I mention that the room was really clean? We stay there every time we are in town because of its central location....within walking distance of the downtown.
We had a great time. This was one of the best places we've stayed. We would go back in a heartbeat.
We stayed there last night and had a good time. We have been there before and realy enjoy the pool. There was a wedding and they had refreshments on the 2nd floor and the mess was still there the next afternoon. We brought the kids last time and this time went without and both times we had a great time.
