Travelers bound for Nashville down I-65 may want to consider staying at the Country Inn & Suites in Goodlettsville. The hotel's relaxing atmosphere begins in the lobby, which has a welcoming fireplace and is ideal for leisurely reading a book from the Read It and Return Lending LibrarySM. After a long day on the interstate, swimming in the heated, indoor pool or unwinding in the whirlpool is a refreshing experience. The Fitness Center gives guests the ability to stay on a workout schedule even while they're traveling, and complimentary high-speed Internet makes it possible to work in the Business Center while on the move
Bed was good
The hotel, seemed old and in disrepair and neglect. Shower head leaked, caulking was moldy around the sink and tub. There was evidence of shoddy maintenance throughout the room. Breakfast was not good, with fried breaded chicken and some egg type item.
Friendly customer service
Dirty room, big stain on chair, run down. Not up to normal country inn and suite standards
This hotel is in a good area, close to the highway but not right on it.Quiet. Close to a couple shopping centers and lots of restaurants. The staff did a great job and was very friendly. Breakfast was better than usual. Room was clean and spacious.
can't think of anything.
There was blood on my bedding in 2 different areas. The pull out couch had the springs sticking out. And the toilet seat fell off while being used.
Staff was very friendly, especially in the kitchen. It was nice having fruit and cookies whenever you wanted. Don't understand why the hotel has some bad reviews. The double queen suite was great for our party of 5.
No free weights or weight machines in the exercise room. How gps tells you to get there thru a dollar general employee parking lot!
Good service at the check-in desk and the free continental breakfast was better than average.
The carpet in our room needed cleaning. It did not smell clean.
Clean, larger room.
Sink faucet hard to shut off/ dripped.Breakfast during 3 day stay had eggs just one morning. Fresh fruit (oranges) were kept back in storage and I had to ask for them each morning.
Friendly. Breakfast. Homey feeling
The smell in our room 207 ( I think it came from air condition unit
Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard options - make your own waffle, muffins, cereals, oatmeal, biscuits/gravy, etc.
Curtains don't close, so don't plan on sleeping late. The cleaning staff is really loud in the morning - there's no sleeping through that noise either.
Friendly staff and clean room
Breakfast was lacking
The ladies working in the dining area were FANTASTIC!!! They made you feel like you were part of their family. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Very clean...we had one maintenance problem and it was looked after immediately.
The only problem we had was the pool was a little cooler than we would like it to be. Didn't get to swim because of this.
The employees were professional and courteous. The room was very clean and no weird smells like I've experienced at other hotels. Loved the 12:00 checkout time and the hot breakfast!
There was not one thing that disappointed me! Awesome experience!! Great hotel!!
Large room, very clean, nice staff.
There are only sheer curtains, no light blocking curtains!! Our room was on the first floor with a floodlight shining right into our window. No way to shut the heavy curtains as they cannot close! We got absolutely NO SLEEP! Bright like noon in there!
Service, friendliness of staff, breakfast selection, cleanliness
Family friendly. Great customer service. Breakfast was great. Excellent location, close to everything. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Nothing fancy but met our needs, mainly the room was clean. Curtains needed washed but we did not sleep on them. Breakfast was good, staff there was very good. The price was very good. Close enough to downtown Nashville to make the short trip worthwile.
The curtains were stained and dirty.
They spray this coconut or vanilla spray all over their room to the point where your lungs burn. I asked them NOT t spray my room the following day - but they ignored my request and did it anyway.
The staff was ok.
I didn't like the neighborhood. I didn't like the fact that the view from my window was a worn down backyard. We were also dissatisfied with the fact that the water pressure was so low that we couldn't flush the toilet or really wash our hands.
One of the things that attracted up to the hotel was the continental breakfast. I would say the breakfast was mediocre at best. The fresh fruit included a few apples/oranges and then a bowl of clearly canned fruit. The eggs were always watery.
Our room was only cleaned once in the 5 days we were there. The housekeeper came in twice very early in the morning and we asked her to come back later. She said she wouldn't be there later so she could not come back.
large room hot breakfast was good
view through the only window against a wall
Comfortable beds & pillows; large size room; quiet
Hotel clerks treated us like second class citizens because we purchased through Priceline. I have used Priceline alot & have NEVER been treated poorly because of it. If the hotel dislikes Priceline customers then they should stop using PL to fill rooms
It was close to the mall and lots of eating choices in the area. Easy Access to highway.
I liked the size of our room, the cleanliness of the bathroom and bed, and the easy to access personelle should you have questions. I also enjoyed free breakfast and internet which was easy to access. I like how small the hotel was on a whole.
I did find a spot of my room which was not clean and had white stuff on the floor. We were only there one night and out most of it, so I did not call for it to be cleaned up. As well, we had noisy next-door neighbors. Again, I chose not to call.
Literally NO water pressure in the shower! My usual 10 minute shower took 30 minutes! And what was up with the squares cut out of the carpet?
The room was spacious and the breakfast was very good. The hotel itself was nice.
The only thing I really didn't like about this hotel is that there was a very strong musty smell in the room.
The last day there, the front desk gentleman. No one else really went out of their way. One lady at front desk told my husband that he couldn't take food back up to room, but when we were eating breakfast, some people were taking food out.
The room had a musty smell.
The beds were comfortable but, nothing else impressed me, especially for the star rating this hotel has!
Everything! The only staff member that was helpful and not snotty was the mgr. The location is not in a good area of town and right across from the Hooters restaurant...not a good location for kids! The hotel is in desperate need of cleaning and repair!
Clerk when I checked in was very friendly and helpful
Horrible odor in the room, AC was not on when I arrived so extremely hot
The room air conditioner was not working and the room was hot. My wife was too tired when she got there to mess with it. She wondered why the staff placed quests in rooms where they knew there were problems.
The fridge was not working and I advised the staff at the desk they said they could not do anything seeing I had booked by Priceline and was only staying for one night.
Would definitely stay there again! Only complaint I can think of is the showers didn't have very much water pressure but other than that everything was what we expected and more.
Noisy room (mechanical), very loud air conditioner, uncomfortable bed, double beds not queen size
rooms were clean and roomy enough.
The hotel was a bit hidden from the main drag. We had to hunt behind other hotels to find this one.
The hot tub was not very hot and the jets did not work. The pool was cold compared to other hotel pools. The sheets in the bed were dirty and had what looked like food or blood stains. We changed the sheets ourselves.
Ok room . Mildew in shower.
Mildew in shower
Would recommend!friendly staff hot breakfast, very clean and helpful.
Stayed here for 1 night on January 28th. I ordered the most expensive king jacuzzi suite. I have stayed at other Country Inn and Suites many times, and I trusted this selection. However, this hotel is an utter disgrace for the company name. Located on a dark, narrow, and extremely hard to find alley. Not easily visible from the main road. Took us an entire hour to find this place. Encountered no problems upon check-in. When we entered the suite, it was horrible. Extremely low quality and outdated paint, carpet, and furniture. Jacuzzi tub was poor quality as well as the bathroom lighting and even the tile. I have stayed at hotels for 1/3 of the cost of this suite, which were of much better quality. The only positive things I can say are that the cleanliness was adequate and that there is a large selection of restaurants near by. Although, traffic in this area is outrageous. Would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.
My wife and I were in town to film a wedding and had booked this hotel based on reasonable price, and convenient location (for us). Our priority was not room size, or amenities, though it was on cleanliness. We were PLEASANTLY surprised by having such a large room and pull-out sofa (though we didn't need it, it was good to know for the future). It was a nice, spacious layout, and very comfortable. I didn't like that they seemed short-staffed at the front desk no matter what time of day we were there (middle of the night checking-in, next morning, or that evening at supper time), however, the staff, when available, was always courteous and helpful, just spread thin. Lastly, the location is shady. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and therefore VERY out-of-place. And that kind of made us feel like a target. Nothing happened, but we made sure our belongings and gear were kept very close by at all times, as I would recommend you do as well. However, we've read reviews on other hotels about robberies in the parking lots, and other such miscreant activity, and had no such experience during our two nights here. In fact, I felt fairly safe as after-hours you had to either have a key card to get in, or be let in by the front desk staff.
Very Family Friendly. I was traveling with four grandkids and our room was perfect. I left my overnight bag at the hotel and the staff made arrangements for returning it to me.
Everything was great. The hotel was nice and clean. The hotel was also off the main highway so it was quiet. All of the staff members were courteous and most helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. I recommend staying at a Country Inn and Suites.
Friendly staff, clean and well managed. All amenities were excellent. Breakfast was good except there was no breakfast meat. Overall a good stay. We will be in November or December.
Stayed at hotel for one week during CMA Fest. Great service, clean, quiet, good breakfast, close to the city but far enough out that it was nice and quiet. A bit difficult to find though as it is hidden behind other hotels and restaurants in a cul-de-sac a bit off the main road. Right off the interstate though! Very good quality for the money, very fairly priced. Building was in good repair. Will definintley stay here again.
