We have a variety of rooms to suit the couples, families, solo travellers and groups of friends. We offer double rooms, self-contained apartments and bunk beds in dormitories.

El Granado is your home away from home.
Greg, and Freddie (a wandering Swede), ran this youth hostel and were most accommodating and engaging. For instance, we arrived in Granada with no tickets to the major sight, the moor-built Alhambra. Nothing was available online nor at the Ticketmaster outlet, so Greg recommended a journey up the road to Alhambra early in the morning since they routinely sell 600 same-day tickets starting at 8 am. Arriving at 6:45 am, I was 45th in line, but improved my position when the supervisor directed us to form two lines for cash purchases, and further back on the side a separate line for credit sales through an electronic kiosk (very easy). As magnificent as this castle was (at 15 Euros each), don't miss the cathedral in town (4 Euros each). Back to the hostel, which included a basic breakfast (with tasty bread), but the parking garage charged 10 Euros/night, a discounted rate for hotel guests. The room cost just under--- Euros/night.
