Easy access to I-80. Nice room. Nice $2.99 breakfast buffet.
Limited dining options nearby
Right off I80, the room was beautiful, the hottub was relaxing, and the bed comfortable. Loved it.
It was clean, comfortable. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Nice shower.
It was extremely clean! Sheets, comforter smelled very fresh, shower, toilet, etc. were all very clean. Each bed came with 4 pillows, which I absolutely loved! The dinner buffet fell a little flat in variety, breakfast buffet was excellent & delicious.
Coffee could've been better quality, partnering with a provider such as Starbucks or Seattle's Best.
Very clean, spacious public spaces, attractive pool area.
It was clean and the breakfast buffet for $2.99 was good.
It was a bit out of date in decor.
The rooms were clean and the indoor pool was OK.
At best, this is more properly rated as a 2-Star hotel. The property is slightly run down. Travelers should realize that this is a 2-story hotel with no elevator. So, if you have a lot of luggage, you'll be dragging it up and down the stairs.
The outside and common areas were dirty, full trash bins, dirty curtains, empty vending, etc.
really friendly staff good bar/grill on site
kind of isolated, but the bar/grill within the restaurant was good.
Lots of bugs in the room. I am sure the flooded field behind the hotel didn't help the situation.
there was a restaurant in the hotel that was great. the food & service was excellent.
Bed, location, and room
Quality Inns have a definite order. They all smell the same. Maybe it is that most of them are refurbished older motels. I think they are overrated at 2 1/2. This one at best should be rated a 2.
Location, restaurant, lounge price.
Smoking room was the only one available and it smelled awful.
They give a coupon for breakfast so we got a delicious and inexpensive breakfast without having to go elsewhere.
It was farther from town than we would have liked
Price was fantastic. Easy access off the highway too. Room and public spaces were very clean.
somewhat slow internet. Not enough to justify a complaint but just slow enough that streaming was impossible.
The experience. Disgusting rooms, noisy, cold buffet in am. The only positive was getting to park somewhat close to the door . if your a smoker you may have been able to tolerate this place. I spent a little more the next day , it was awesome.
They gave me a room on the main floor close to the exit so that I could load and unload easily
It was close to the high way
It was old. Everything about it felt cheap, from the very thin towels to the old bathroom.
Room was clean and comfortable. Easy access right off the interstate.
Smell of cigarette smoke throughout hallways was an immediate concern, but our room had no trace of odor. Pool was fairly cold.
The room was a nice size and mostly clean.
We checked in around midnight - there were very few cars in the parking lot. The front desk clerk was not welcoming nor accommodating. We asked for a room with a king bed instead of two queens and her response was quite rude.
I best liked it when it was in my rearview mirror, never to stop again.
Overpriced; unpleasant 'welcome' with an upsell for a non-smoking room. Plumbing problems. Priceline lied about what I was getting.
Breakfast was $3 for the same stuff everyone else gives away free, and the free stuff is better. Pancakes were rubber frisbees, and sausage was mush.
Had booked us in a smoking room, but we never want smoking. Charged extra money for us to get two beds. Room was dingy and overdue for renovation, carpets dirty and rumpled. Overall run-down feeling: definitely not worthy of 2.5 stars.
The bar and lobby.
The staff charged me a extra $11.00 to get two beds, and I know they had extra rooms.
This hotel was convenient to the interstate.
This hotel is quite dated, though clean. They charge an extra fee for breakfast, but it was minimal for the selection of food they provided.
It was easy to find.
The room smelled like mildew and was muggy even though the air conditioning was on. My daughters shoes after sitting on the floor for 6 hours felt damp.
It was not a great deal. A little old, a little tired. And not a great price. I expected more from Priceline - where I've gotten GREAT deals at times.
Close to interstate.
Long check in. While helping me check in stopped to help guest who just showed up and answered questions for an individual who just wanted to park vehicle in lot and was not even staying at hotel.
old, dark and tired facility. needs serious remodel to get even close to a 2.5 star rating
This hotel is 10 miles south of Grand Island. It is ok if you are traveling cross country and staying on I80, but I wanted to be more in town and closer to restaurants and businesses that I sell to.
I asked for Grand Island but Priceline offered me a hotel that was south of the city limits and south of the interstate highway. I was extremely disappointed as I was looking for a hotel in Grand Island.
room quiet, clean, basic. close to highway exit.
Hotel staff friendly, but understaffed and slow.
Every thing was average. nothing special about it.
The Hot breakfast was a false statement. We did not get a free hot breakfast but had to pay $ 3.00 per person. If you ask me, it was kind of a come on with the breakfast. YOu should say it clear. Yes we have a hot breakfast or no we only have coffee.
Wasn't there long enough to really know.
Avoid the breakfast buffet.
Room was clean, but they only had smoking rooms left. Was very disappointed.
Upon check in and getting up to the room, we noticed that the TV wouldnt work properly so we called the Front Desk who said they'd send someone up to look at it. While we were waiting for that person to come up, we also noted that the WiFi wasnt operating either. When the person from the Front Desk made it up to our room to look at the TV, he made sure all the connections were correct, and then said that the Cable/Internet service has been down for a while, and they have not gotten an ETA for service to be restored. We went to the front desk to see what our options were to pass time, and they said they didnt have any suggestions. We asked to be Comp'd free drinks in the lounge until the Cable/Internet service was restored and were told we could have 1 free drink. The next morning all of us in the room woke up coughing/sneezing terribly, I called the front desk to ask if the room was possibly a 'smoking' room and was told that it was indeed a smoking room. We werent advised of that when checking in, as we'd surely not accept it. I asked to be moved to a non-smoking room for the remainder of our stay, and was told they would see what they can do. I called back 2 hours later because I hadnt heard back from them, and they told me they were waiting for the GM to come in later in the day to see if they can assign us another room. I couldnt believe that they would make guests wait 3+ hours to be assigned a new room, or be advised that they were waiting for more info. I advised them that I wanted to cancel the remaining nights on my stay, and that we will be checking out immediatly. We ended up going down the road to the Comfort Inn in Hastings, NE where the service was phenominal, and the hotel was in much better shape.
Our luck seems to have ran out with this one. The first morning we encountered a broken coffee maker. After contacting the front desk another one was delivered to our door. Although the lid on the replacement was broken...we improvised. There's not the usual comp breakfast...only a over priced restaurant. Later the same day we returned at 3:30 pm only to find that no effort was made to clean our room. When I called the front desk I was informed that 'they are still cleaning rooms'. We let it go because we figured they probably were busy with a wedding also being held at the site. We left to be with family and friends and arrived back at 11 pm only to find that our room was never cleaned. I contacted the front desk and told the clerk about the situation which in return all that was given was an apology...no offer to bring us fresh towels, coffee for the coffee pot, bathroom amenities, etc. Five minutes later the night manager called our room back and apologized, offered to take $* off the room for the night. Fresh towels, coffee, etc were sent only when we asked for them. Today I get transaction alerts from my credit card company stating that this hotel has not only charged me 3 times for what was supposed to be a Reward night plus one night paid, but now they have charged me an amount (all 3 times) that is NOT the $* amount agreed upon after the offer of taking $* off the bill. I called again only to get more confusion by a clerk who admitted that she didn't know what was going on and a comment of 'let us call you back in about 15 minutes'. I'm still waiting.
The room was good enough and was clean. The food was so expensive which is offered free at some of the other hotels. The customer service was kind of ok.
