Car Rental

There are four rental car agencies with counters in the airport: Alamo/National Car Rental, Avis Rent-A-Car, Enterprise, and Hertz. The office for all four are located at the airport's east ticketing wing. Car rental pickup and return is within walking distance of the passenger terminal building. Budget Rent-A-Car also offers shuttle service from the airport to their office and car lot.

Public/Ground Transfer

The Rapid is the bus system in the area. Route 17 has one terminus at the airport and the other downtown at Woodland Mall. The bus runs about once an hour between 6:30am and 10pm. There are a number of transfer lines at the Woodland stop. Bus fare is $1.30 with one free transfer. For a more comfortable ride, try Air Porter Shuttle (616-776-1100), which operates every half-hour from 7:30am to 9pm and stops at downtown hotels. Cost is $25 round-trip or $15 one-way.
