The staff was friendly.
We stayed one night and will NEVER go back! A stranger was given a key to our room and walked in on us at near midnight! Frightening to say the least. Outside on the streets at night, cars drag race until late. Police sirens and drag racing all night. The hotel advertises a night club adjacent to the hotel. The nightclub closed down. There is only one cab company in the area, so it is a 45 minute to ever an hour wait to be able to get to another nightclub from the hotel. Overall terrible experience that was meant to be a romantic weekend for us. We asked for a refund and haven't heard back from Priceline. We won't be using or referring them again, either.
The staff were excellent! Even helped me move my truck when it was stuck due to ice and snow. Attention to details like coffee, tea and treats in the reception area. Outstanding breakfast--healthy selections. Should have higher star rating. The location is next to a grocery store, pizza, Asian, and fast food locations--an nice selection for lunch and dinner covering different budget levels. Close to downtown area. Easy access from the highways.
It is convenient to downtown Hagerstown.
It seems rundown.
I don't think I would bid on a 2 1/2 star there again because they will just send u there
A fair distance off the freeway, but near multiple restaurants / fast food options. At least when we were there, it was fairly empty, and thus very quiet.
Their internal technology is suspect, so they were unable to download our reservation from the Priceline system. Desk clerk had to receive it as a fax and manually enter it. While she was delightful, this took far too long.Basic cheap hotel but nicer than most. Attractive lobby space. Large rooms. Seemed clean. Nothing special, but a nice option for a one night inexpensive stay.
while it is near to a questionable section of town, I felt completely safe at this hotelthe breakfast has a make yourself Belgium waffle machine...that's always a plus for me
There was an odor of some chemical, maybe a cleaning agent that lingered all over the hotel. I kept the fan running in my room to keep the smell away. It worked.
Old. Maintenance was poor. Loud parking lot next door with weekend cruisers.Like most hotels in Hagerstown, this hotel is failing, and I'm a local. It was a mistake to put my family up here. This hotel is not a 2.5 star hotel.
Mass communication between staff and housekeeping concerning additional day of check out.Other than being awakened by house keeping it was fine
