The place was clean and tidy, with a giant bathroom and nice shower. Included an umbrella to borrow and many other amenities in the room.
Transit was further away than expected and the lower rooms have no view of the lake due to trees.
The concierge staff were wonderful, always greeted you with a smile and were very helpful. The staff of Le Spa were also very friendly and made us feel welcome. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job every day aswell. The location was great, you could go for a run around the Alster Lake and the hotel provided water, fruit and towels in the reception when you had finished your run - that was a really nice touch.
It was very expensive to stay there and we could not afford to eat in the restaurant. Likewise breakfast was extremely expensive (it is not included in the room price) which was a shame as the restaurant has a beautoful view over the Alster Lake
The fantastic back massage at the Spa!
The jacuzzi was out of order for duration of weekend break.
The food in the restaurant was extraordinary and all the staff members were well trained and very courteous.
The spa facilities
They took the bathrobes away after the first day, and accidentally my white shirt too
