The rooms and suites are lavishly decorated in a gorgeous African or Asian design, reflecting the 19th century style, without lacking modern amenities such as up-to date communication devices and the newest in hotel technology. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, work area, telephone with voicemail, fax, internet access including wireless LAN broadband, a 26-inch LCD flatscreen television with digital TV, video on demand and a range of music channels, a minibar and an electronic laptop-sized safe.
On the ground floor the restaurant «augila» and the «Baobab Bar & Café» encourages you to follow in the tracks of merchants and businessmen of the 19th century and find out all about the souvenirs that were brought back from shopping trips across the oceans during that era. Enjoy a stimulating time travel to exciting sceneries that will convert even a simple snack to a feast for the senses. The restaurant features space for 215 guests.
The WellFit area is located on the 5th floor, a fitness centre in a prominent tower boasting a view of Hamburg. You find yourself in the Arctic without having to shiver from the cold. The professional fitness room is equipped with the most modern equipment (cardio, endurance and power training), the sauna area features an ice fountain, a steam bath and an area with fireplace to relax. Enjoy your workout with lighting, moods and elements reminiscent of the Arctic.

It thrives to make every event magical and unforgettable with locations such as the spectacular Carl-Hagenbeck-Hall (with 7m ceilings) for up to 220 persons.
