The staff were inredibly pleasant and accomidating.
The hotel itself was very outdated & smelled horribly of cigarette smoke.
NothingNicely Renovated recently. Nice place to stay as a business traveler.
The room I reserved wasn't held for me. I was offered another room, which the attendant later admitted that she had expected me to possibly reject (strong odor of past smoker use). Only after complaining was I given another room.Good location, good price, some rooms need to be cleaned of past smoking smell.
The rooms were clean and that is something very important to us.
We felt sorry for the desk clerk who also was the maid, breakfast person, who did it all.The lobby could use a makeover and the lobby windows either need replacing, a good cleaning, or at least put up sheer curtains so customers do not see what poor condition they are in. The room was clean, temperature was good, lighting was good, and they had wi-fi. We would stay here again.
Price and location
Breakfast not well stockedOK for the money, better than most reviews
That it was a room at a reasonable rate close to several dining choices.
If you were parked around back and the hotel had alot of people staying there then it was a little tough getting out in the mornings.Good hotel and friendly staff. Right down the road from a 24 hr. McDonald's w/ ice cream cones for 50 cents and Mineshaft restaurant which serves great food.
Fresh fruit at breakfast.
Shower. Temp was hard to regulate, and pressure was too.
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and very helpful.
The wiring in the rooms worried me. A powerstrip imcreased the number things plugged into the wall at one time. The exterior paint was pealing. No elevator to the second level. This makes it hard for anyone with trouble walking to reach a room.Great breakfast for the price of the motel. Very friendly and efficient staff. Easyly accessable, right on the main road. Beds were comfortable, but not luxurious. Basic cable. Directly across the street from a small strip mall, with a great NY style pizza place, an Chinese restaurant, a Culvers, and a grocery store. This older motel does need some serious maintanance on the outside (there was peeling paint on one side of the building), but the interiors were clean and odour-free. I would stay there again. Not a romantic get away, but a good basic over-night stay enroute to other places.
Cheap and convenient.
Smelled of cigarette smoke even though there was no smoking allowed. People in adjacent rooms were definitely smoking. Disgusting!Cons: dated & drab look, smells of cigarette smoke (our friends' room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, ours had a more subtle stale cigarette smell). Pros: quiet, inexpensive, good water pressure. If you are looking for a cheap, brief stay I would recommend it.
