it was only hotel available, i usually stay at Hilton, but it was booked. room was fairly clean, and I liked having ceiling fan so I didn't have to run AC. Staff was nice and helpful.

location a bit seedy, lobby uncomfortable and not furnished very well, gift / snack shop didn't have much variety, elevators inconvenient.

it was ok, not great.

While the meals supplied for breakfast to the hotel patrons was excellent, the light evening meal (also included in the cost of the room) was also fantastic. It was so nice to have a dinner served at the hotel at the end of a busy business day.

Although we arrived at 3:30am, the front desk staff was helpful, and also allowed us to do a late checkout, which was invaluable.

I thought that for a hotel of this star caliber, the place would be a little better maintained. Although the room was clean, and the bed comfortable, the place seems to need a bit of a makeover. However, everything about the hotel was acceptable.

The hotel could use a little modernizing, but overall, it was a good deal, and the location was good as well.

The hotel was clean, staff was great, and walking distances to nearby restaurants. We were there for a concert at the Xfinity Theater and were able to walk back from the venue to the hotel.

The breakfast buffet at the M&M Bistro was poor. The buffet had minimal selection and we had to order omelets through out waitress which never arrived. For the price of the buffet and experience, I would go to another breakfast place next time.

We live in Downtown and due to some renovation work in our home, we stayed at the Residence Inn for 6 weeks. I cannot say enough good about this hotel. The rooms are huge - and if you need the space, get the 1 bedroom - it is totally worth it. High ceilings, separate bedroom and bathroom and a full kitchen. We were on the 6th floor, and our housekeeper, ABC, is fantastic. The room was spotless, she was always exceptionally friendly - can't say enough good about her. Every morning there is breakfast - and ABC (she runs breakfast) is so friendly and helpful and personable - she made my morning every day. The front desk (ABC - everyone!) were all super friendly and helpful. We needed to keep extending our stay and they were always soo accomodating. And the groundskeepers - these guys are wonderful. Funny, kind, personable.. I simply can't say enough about how wonderful the staff is. They really go out of their way to make sure your stay is fantastic. The hotel gets a lit of traffic, and ...

You would want your romantic getaway to feel magical and nuanced from the moment you enter the special place that you've chosen for your private escape. This Marriott may not be that place for such a getaway. \nParking is inconvenient - behind the hotel unless you're lucky enough to find proximate on-street parking. But beware, if you do park on the street, you must wake up early in the morning to beat the Meter Maids who seem perversely delighted in fulfilling their job. \n \nThe room - a suite - and our romantic time together was the best part of our little adventure, as should be the case. But it would've been nicer to have had better customer service along the way. \n \nThe courtesy morning breakfast was okay, too.

Location is perfect

Did not expect the $17 per day fee for parking. Not expected in this market, Hartford, really!

The hotel is a little dated, as apparent from the worn and stained carpeting in the room.

Great customer service, so convenient to the convention center and very fast room service although the food was nothing to write home about. The breakfast service was very convenient. Also free wifi!!

The location

The restaurant could have a few more options for dinner entrees. And Starbucks in the lobby needs more help - the line was a constant out into the lobby.

This hotel was perfect. We attended a volleyball tournament at the convention center that the Marriott is connected to. For our two younger children they enjoyed the indoor pool, my husband enjoyed the gym with view of the pool and I enjoyed relaxing watching both and taking in the view from the 22nd floor. A great great hotel!

There was a concert going on. The Hotel was a night mare. They sold all other parking spaces for $40 that night and the concert crowd trashed the out side grounds with trash and beer bottles and even partied in the halls after midnight in large groups. The cops had to kick them out I WILL NEVER GO TO A SUPER 8 AGAIN !

Staff was slamming doors and using vacuums and power tools in the hall way outside our room from 3 am to 6 am !! !!! Horrible experience I WILL NEVER GO TO SUPER 8 AGAIN !!!!!!

It was by far the worst Super 8 I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was constantly missing cinnamon rolls and there was a constant line at the waffle machine (because the waffle machine, microwave and cereal were all crammed into the same corner). The waits for breakfast was so long, that I gave up on the second day and started walking to the McDonalds around the block. One day, I didn't even receive maid service. The bathrooms needed some paint touch up. There wasn't a place to hang my clothes. By far, the worst hotel I have stayed at in a while.

Location

Cleanliness, No maid service all weekend, old tv's, uncomfortable beds, dirty filthy carpets, broken sink, chiping paint, expensive weekend, 30 dollars to park.

Dirty, musty, old, run down, and not worth it. Only thing nice was it was close to the venue to see DMB.

Undergoing construction. very busy place with construction workers doing interior renovations.

the location was very convenient, it is close to the freeways and the city but not in the crowded downtown area. they provided shuttle to nearby places like rental car place and science center. They have a good wifi.

renovation was ongoing during our stay and there was no advanced warning of such work going on, as a result the lobby and the hallways are dirty, dusty, noisy, and smells funky. the renovation work was not properly phased/staged to allow guests to have access to the rooms without passing through the work area. the room that was given to us was the first room from the construction work and even when I want to rest during the day I couldn't because of the noise. the room was also across the hall from the breakfast area and some people were noisy in the morning, the loudest was a fire inspector talking to a hotel staff and I could hear their entire conversation in my room. the room that was assigned also had a few issues - the phone never worked even after I complained about it several times; the lights in the bathroom was flickering, it was fixed after one complaint but they replaced one of the bulbs but not the other resulting in a weird lighting; the shower water was never stable, warms up for a few minutes then drops to cold water for a few then goes back up to warm again; they also forgot to service the room on one of the days that we stayed.

You can select to display the prices with or without our estimate of taxes & fees (which may not appear on provider's booking page but will be charged at hotel checkout). Before you complete your reservation, verify the total cost on the provider's site. Prices and availability are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
