Would stay again. It was clean and quiet. I give it a thumb's up!
Stayed in the king suite the king size bed wasn't bad. When i pulled out the hide away bed from the couch it was falling apart. When the sheets were pulled back there was popcorn everywhere! Stains all over the carpet didn't want to walk barefoot. Would not recommend staying here
My dog and I stayed in this hotel over a weekend. It was quiet and everyone that worked there was very friendly to me and my dog. I would return to this hotel again.
The room was huge but the kitchen was filthy. I could see grease splatter all over the microwave and I was disappointed because I paid so much and expected it to be spotless. The staff was friendly and I didnt complain because I was only staying one night and I really didnt have the time to go through the process of finding another room.
Although there are mixed reviews on this hotel and many others, I felt this was a good buy for the price and the staff was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable and my wife and I will stay there again.
I was uneasy about the mixed reviews for this hotel, but we had an excellent experience. We were on the 4th floor and so there was some difficulty with Wi-Fi part of the time, but the connection seemed better when we put the laptop on our lap instead of the desk, so I think it might have been our distance from the router (but it did work fine). I was traveling with my husband and three young children. Our room was ready as reserved. We are very sensitive to smoky smells and our room did NOT smell smoky at all. The room was clean and comfortable. There is an exercise room on the first floor, which my husband and I enjoyed. The breakfast was good ... there was a variety including waffle batter to make waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, and juice. The front desk workers were friendly and helpful. The location is good ... easy to jump on the interstate and visit various St. Louis sites. I recommend this hotel.
We were given a smoking room and they had no other rooms available. It seemed like there was a layer of nicotine coating everything. I wouldn't take my shoes off because I was afraid I would get a nicotine rush from the nicotine going from the carpet into my bare feet. The room smelled sooo bad! It was disgusting. On top of all of that the hotel was extremely noisy. People were yelling and banging doors until about 4am. My overall review is that it sucked!
A perfect fit for our travel plans to Saint Louis. Thank you for making and preparing a very nice room for us to stay in!!
The staff seemed nice. The room was not properly stocked. For instance there were no bags in trash. The breakfast was good. This was an ok hotel.
We stayed here for a weekend trip (2 nights) to St Louis with kids. It was disgusting- dated is one thing, but dirty is quite another. The dirty towels were not picked up after the first day- there was hair(not ours) on the bath tub. We made coffee the first morning- it was not cleaned up and they didn't replenish for the next day- guess they didn't want us to use the coffee maker again. The outside of the hotel looks ok, but the room was just dirty. I didn't even want to take off my shoes on the carpet in the room. The sheets on both the full size beds had holes in them and were so worn you could see through them. When we returned home, all of our clothes and our suitcases smelled of smoke (we had a non-smoking room). We stayed and made the best of it, but will not stay at any room in this hotel chain again.
We stayed at this hotel and it was in a great location from everything we wanted to do. We would definately stay here again.
We stayed here on our way out of town. Very clean, helpful front desk. Very nice place to stay.
One night stay at St. Luis. close to airport. Comfortable bed, great value
The Staff was very friendly and professional. They printed directions to the Airport and Shopping center for me which where accurate. High Speed Internet is available but wireless, which should have been mentioned. The room was okay but missing a few things like the comforter, ashtray (was a smoking room) and coffeepot.
The entire time I was at the La Quinta the Phone in the room did not work. I was there trying to do business, for example I had meetings with the Mayor of Pagedale and the Board of Alderman and could not conduct business with them or the broker of property I was purchasing. That made things very difficult and still had to pay full price for room and did not get full use of room.....
I was just passing through town. Was located next to hiway. Good bed for the night, decent price.
After 5 hr. driving I was waiting to arrive to a very clean hotel/Motel, based on the information that I got and the pictures that you can find in the web. When we arrived the first impression was nice, the breakfast area was clean and very well organized despite of the available space. But everything changed when we saw the carpet at room. I was scared to walk without shoes. My little 10month son, has to stay in the play ground all weekend. I asked to change the room but they were unable to find another one available at that time. In fact since we arrive until we check out nobody vacuum the carpet.
The beds are hard as rock.\nOverall, cleaniness was not apparent.\nStaff was the best feature, polite, etc.\nThe complementiary breakfast was awful, we went to McDonalds.
Easy access to highways for visiting friends and family during our two week stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was nice. Free breakfast as well as fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room.
The hotel was very dirty and my room smelled of body odor and urine. The carpeting was wet and mildewy. When I called to ask about the ''check in'' time so I could plan my trip the staff person I spoke to had no idea what''check in'' time meant and she just hung up on me.The breakfast area was not clean and they were out of most of the food. Not a good hotel, not even for the price.
