Cons:After we arrived in the destination city, I called to arrange a time to pick up the car and was told they were out of cars. I asked how they allowed the reservation to be completed when there was no availably, they claimed it happens all the time.Reviewed Mar 22 2021

Cons:We were set out with a bad tire that kept losing air. I aired it up many times. Took it to a Hertz office who sent us to a Firestone dealer for repair. The tire had been repaired but was leaking. We took our rental time to do your maintenance work. Then corporate decided it needed an oil change after we had waited for the approval and repair of the tire . and would no release the car. We were give $50.00 for our time and trouble of doing your maintenance, rely cheap for our loss of use and dangerous condition.Reviewed Oct 28 2020

Pros:Staff called before I came to let me know that they didn’t have a car for me.Cons:Rental companies should not allow kayak or other site to make reservations for customers if their is not a way to communicate between the parties that there is no cars available.Reviewed Sep 29 2019

Cons:I kept getting an error message when I attempted to book a better option, but the compact option worked. The car had a tire out of balance and had stains on the ceiling. I’m just thankful that it had cruise control, though.Reviewed Apr 8 2019

Cons:Office was essentially a large vacant room with one desk. Attendant at the desk didn't checked the vehicle when I returned it, which made me question if I would be seeing additional charges on my ccard. Attendant just got up from the desk to take the keys and said that was all that was needed.Reviewed Oct 5 2016

unprofessionalPros:NothingCons:We ended up canceling once we went to pick up the car in Foley. We had problems renting because the credit card we were using was my mother in laws but I would be driving. They said the names had to match. The employees were making fun of the manager in front of us. Overall the entire establishment was unprofessional and I will never rent a car again from hertz.Reviewed Jun 18 2016
