CorrectionPros:Donna Baker was wonderful in correcting an error made by an employee “Jay.” Am hoping all will go smoothly with final billing; therefore cannot give star rating for value.Cons:It took an hour to make correction and the car I rented had a scratched front bumper, which I was informed would not be a problem for me when I returned car to a different location. Don't ever go with HertzPros:Nothing!Cons:From the moment I got there they tried to force extra cover protection which I didn't need bc I purchased the one offered through Kayak. I had rented a full size and they tried to give me an economy car and I refused so I then had to wait until another car was brought in from Hobby airport which was a midsize. The car was dirty smelled like cigs. It had scratches windshield cracked a bottom piece of the fender broken. The customer service was poor. Joe and Donna just didn't seem to care about making anything better because they said that all they had. When I asked for the contact information for the manager all of a sudden they had a SUV they could offer at no cost but that too was in very horrible condition. I have pictures to prove how horrible League City and Clear Lake and Hobby Hertz cars are. Don't waste your time going. It's better to go to Enterprise where I have received better cars and much better customer service.Reviewed Jul 27 2017

Pros:Car drove well. Staff was generally friendly.Cons:Hidden fees- did not realize I would have to pay a 200$ deposit for using a debit card. Money allocated for a hotel now was put into holding. I would've booked with a credit card if I'd known this. Additionally I bought car insurance thru Expedia. Was told at counter it was useless because I didn't buy it thru hertz. I also was not told about the 13.50 a day for my husband to drive additionally up front. Very disappointing.Reviewed Jul 20 2017
