Staff was super friendly. Hotel very clean. Room much more than we expected. Love this hotel. Will definetly stay here again!
Breakfast was a joke. It is more like a grab and go. Coffee and protein bars! Should not be classified as breakfast!
Keys did not work after 1 night
Friendly staff. Rooms are ok. I found many long hairs in bathroom. They could improve on cleaning. For the price not a bad place to stay.
I liked how well they were to accomodate us, a king bed and sleeper sofa.
I didn't like that 3rd floor is smoking and non smoking. We had a 1 year old with us and every time we got off the elevator, all we could smell was smoke.
Hotel and location
Maintenance not greate
Smoking smell in the room was very strong , 4th floor window did not have secure screen for children
Breakfast did not have any juice or milk, only coffee.
It was a clean and quiet, and relatively cheap.
They were massively understaffed, and most of us had to get dressed in a public bathroom for a wedding because they couldn't get a room ready in time. I've never been to a hotel where they were so unprepared for guests. Also the breakfast was crap.
Conveniently located near restaurants.
Under-staffed front desk. Person working the front desk was great, but they needed at least two people on duty. Very noisy rooms. Broken furniture and fixtures. Wi-Fi was unreliable, mostly not working.
We arrived late and were greeted by a very helpful person. We needed to be up really early and we were made a plate of things for breakfast to take with us. The room was a very large studio with a kitchen and couch. The bed was very comfortable.
If you wanted things like a coffee pot or anything to cook with you had to have front desk get them for you. The kitchen was not supplied. They only have grab and go breakfast like granola bars, fruit, pastries and coffee.
Friendly and accomidating.
Too small of breakfast.
The Hotel Employee
My room was very comfortable
The breakfast was awful
Size of room
Housekeeping no. Available every week. There 2 1/2 weeks before they had time to cLean room. Fro t desk Always out of a stuff. TV dOnmm long tone. staff hard to locatmost of timee
Great staff and early check in
All was good
What I like best was the price, for this quality hotel, the price can not be beat!
Coffee pots and plastic cups are not left in the room, and must be picked up at the front desk.
I loved the fact that we had a kitchen (stove, fridge) because I totally did not expect that when I came in. There was a small couch and plenty of room to settle in for my stay. Would definitely stay with this chain.
I didn't like the fact that when we first walked into the room, it smelled like someone smoked in it. We aired the room out a bit and the smell went away (or no longer noticeable to us lol).
The room was great the location was perfect for my stay
Hallways smelied strong of smoke and the 'trash rooms' in the stairways stunk and needed emptied
How friendly the staff was to me.
There was always a wait if you called the office to ask for kitchen utensils. Obviously they need to buy more to be able to accomadate the whole hotel
Awesome king suite. Very spacious. Definitely a star in 2-star category
Desk clerk was nice enough, very close to great food and shopping
Smokey halls and stairs, back of hotel above daily morning trash p/u. Too far to elevators so parking in rear using stairs upset my arthritis
Friendly staff. Clean. Good location. Excellent price. Safe for those traveling alone. No frills but just nice basic room.
Location was ideal.
The room key does not work in getting into the side entries
clean, quiet, friendly staff at desk and I checked in early no problem. Got end room on second floor. genuinely non-smoking - everything I needed worked.
breakfast in minimalist. I got there early and had coffee, muffin, piece of fruit and a trail mix bar. Later got less I heard. No coffee maker in room. all else was good.
The staff was super nice.
Our room smelled a bit funny. Before check out, I checked under the bed for any of our stuff and found the source of the smell- a rotten apple! The dishes were also not very clean. There was also an unclean bed spread balled up in the closet.
housekeeping was not very good and breakfast was not well watched and stocked
Comfortable beds, great swimming pool.
Delay in checking in. We arrived at 4:45 pm and did not get our room until approximately 8:00 pm with no real explanation from the staff. To be told for over 3 hours that the room was not cleaned yet is unbelievable - especially when traveling with kids.
The rooms were nice.
The staff. This was our 2 or 3 stay in the last few months and the only staff member that was. The same is this guy on eve or or nights. He was rude to everyone. But mostly treated his coworkers horribly. I over heard himm Yelling and degrading them
The location was good and the bed firm.
We were disappointed with this hotel. The bathroom was not cleaned and needed repairs. The breakfast not what we expected and very sparse and not enough food for the number of people there .
It was by a lot of shops and restaurants
We were on the first floor and heard little kids running around until 2 am in the morning every night we stayed there. We heard kids crying and yelling all night in to the morning. The toilet was backed up and we didn't even use it yet.
Room was not available when we arrived at 8 PM. Room keys deactivated before check out time.
Extremely smokey smokers room. Made our eyes water.
we got a smoking room. even I insisted we should have a non-smoking room because we have 2 young kids. The room was really smelt like smoking. All our luggage was polluted with nicotine smelt after one night stay. the experience will stay for a long time.
New appearance, paint,sofa bed,pool,parking.
Floors not sweeper/mopped broken shower knob missing light bulbs & T_paper
Quiet, even though full
for an extended stay expected more items for kitchen ,like soap to clean dishes
The rooms were nice - clean - well laid out
There was no shampoo in the bath, so had to use hand soap to wash my hair. The Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Had to go find a quick breakfast elsewhere. Should check the Clackamas Inn for great easy breakfast ideas.
The front desk was less than honest about room availability.
No temporory shampoo. Room is not cleaned dayly. Poor breakfast. Other things are good, as expected in a 2-star hotel.
the bed was comfortable and the flat screen television can swivel around the room
no pots and pans. I bought a bag of groceries to cook, looked for the pots and pans and could not cook cuz the front desk staff said the maids took the pots and pans out of the room.
Promised handicap bath not delivered. Breakfast is a joke.
Very very dirty! Gross. Wouldn't even recommend this place to an enemy.
the hotel was an all night construction zone
The construction all night ling
Very little: Slow but free Wifi, adequate bathroom
LIED about breakfast which was CRAP! Tried to charge for a pet fee even though is was marketed as included.Dirty. Small, cramped room. NO way should this be any more than 1 to 1.5 stars. What a rip off. Unsympathetic to needs for a ground floor room.
The room had missing cabinet doors and the bathroom sink and counter didn't even get cleaned by housekeeping. I told them I had 2 children and was told there was room, but all the room had was a twin pull-out.
They did not have my reservation. It took three hours to get a room. Then the rooms ac didnt work and it faced the sun. Then they put us is a room was occupied by another guest. Then they finally put us in a room that was dirty and had spider webs.
The only reason I put good instead of excellent for room quality is because I was on the first floor and the people directly above me were heavy walkers and always dropping things on the floor. It was very noisy and annoying. I recommended to the hotel to maybe put more insulation between the floors. Other than that the room was wonderful, very spacious, very clean. It had a dishwasher, microwave, coffe maker, stove, oven, refrigerator and plates, silverware, glasses. mugs and pots to cook. The staff is very friendly and anxious to be of help. I recommend this hotel.
Everything was OK but the bed mattress was uncomfortable. Location is good and area is quiet and adequate for our purpose at this time.
I was traveling on business, so it was a nice surprise at the quality and comfort in this room. I will always stay here.
I visit family in Hillsboro and found this hotel online because of its pet policy, which is great. Small, unfenced dog park next to it. My dog was warmy welcomed. The staff was excellent, even though I kept changing my arrival date. I never use hotel shampoo, etc. so didn't mind that there weren't those kind of amenities. Plenty of towels, great bed. Appreciated the internet hook-up, even for $* total stay. My ONLY complaint was there weren't adequate cooking utensils if you plan on using the kitchen, which I did. I'll just bring mine this time, especially a decent can opener. I didn't use the pool last time but will this time. It's small but inviting. I have recommended this to other family members, two of which recently stayed there and also gave good reviews. I highly recommend this hotel as long as your need for certain amenities is realistic.
The best hotel that we have stayed at in years. So inexpensive for what type of room we recieved. All rooms have kichenettes (stocked with anything that you would need) and the room was very large. Room was clean and staff was very helpful. Loved our stay.
Stayed in the one bedroom suite w/king bed - can not beat the deal on this place. Room was great, comfortable bed and tastefully decorated. Better room than most 3 or 4 star hotels in downtown Portland for under * dollars. Of course, services are limited, but mainly services that are not put to use anyways. Will definitely return.
I took my family there for a weekend stay. The location is great - next to a nice outdoor shopping mall, but the breakfast was only coffee and bagels. The outdoor pool was fun for the kids, but there was no hot tub.
We came to visit our Grand kids from Vermont. IT was nice getting a hotel like this, over the internet, and feeling good about it when we arrived. I enjoyed my time there and plan to stay there again next year. The pool was nice for the kids.
