The location was fine since the area is not very large, many of the hotels there have very similar location advantage. This hotel is just avarage, nothing special at all. Chose it for the swimming pool and when I got there, it was not accessible. I spent the one night I had already paid and moved to the Days Inn the next morning.
Their staff are upset before you start talking. They are very unfriendly and "I can't" seems to be a favorite among them. Will you believe that when my wife tried to call me there the front desk clerk would not help her on any way to reach me??? "Linda was her name" told my wife she could not pass me the call if she did not give her my room number. How in the world was she suppose to have it if she was trying to reach me upon my arrival to the hotel. Linda told my wife "to get a hold of me and get the room number from me, if she wanted their staff to pass me the call" That was unheard off and so uneducated I could not believe it when I spoke to my wife. And the second front desk clerk was in total agreement with Linda which told me they have a management problem. When my wife called the hotel and was treated with no courtesy whatsoever, she asked to speak with the manager in duty and she was told that the manager was not in and was not coming back for a "few hours" I wonder... Who is running this place??? Will absolutaly NOT recommend this hotel when there are so many other hotels around, with staffs as nice as they can be! Went there for the pool and it wasn't even accessible!! Bad, bad, bad.
The room was very spacious and had a nice kitchen area (would be nice for extended stays), but guests would have to bring certain items such as garbage bags, possibly extra toilet paper. The room and breakfast area was very clean, and had a decent breakfast. For a night stay it was worth the money, would come back here if visiting the Toledo area.
The door to the room was rusting and very difficult to open the door. Also the outside areas, including the facility needs some serious updating and couldn't imagine having to clean this place during the winter., as the upper rooms seemed difficult to navigate. The people at the service desk were good overall, but waiting to make sure didn't get charged twice as we had prepaid for the room. I think it is probably understaffed and the management seems not to want to put a great deal of money into the property. For a Wyndham property, I am surprised they haven't forced the management to update this facility.
THIS HOTEL WAS FILTHY!!!! My room was absolutely horrific. I thought it would be fine since it was a Wyndham property. My room had hair all over the sheets, there was dirt and bugs swept into the corners. The desk was sticky and nasty. When I arrived there was no toilet paper on the roll in the bathroom. I am a business professional that has worked in hotels for over 6 years from the Hampton Inn all the way to Ritz Carlton properties and this was the worst stay I have ever had in my life. With that being said I didn't expect the Ritz but I expected the bare minimum..like clean sheets a clean bathroom and toilet paper on the roll. I will tell my friends and especially my coworkers never to stay at this property!!
I think your reviews are artificially inflated. In the future I'll use Trivago, Google, and Trip Advisor and avoid Kayak and Priceline.
The staff was very nice. The room was clean and large.
The room and the entire facility was in need of an update. The room looked nothing like the picture. The facilities were run down (you could see there was a lot of exterior work being done) and the grounds were not kept.
This was our thire visit here. The room was clean and they do a nice hot breakfast. We will stay here again.
The particular room we stayed in is in need of a new mattress for the bed. We told the staff and they were glad we let them know and will replace it!
I liked the suite. The kitchen area was convenient. Having Wifi was great and easy to access. The room was clean and parking was accessible to the unit. Great for overnight stay. We traveling from our winter home to our summer home. So having the refrigeration was excellent The breakfast area was clean and the basic offerings were good.
The place needs a lot of repairs. Construction was going on and that I presume they are going to bring the place up to date. The units need updating
The girl at the front desk was friendly.
First, couldn't open the door, the handle worked backwards. The room looked like it had been furnished in 1970. Every piece of furniture looked like it came from a frat house, worn, scratched, damaged. The lampshades were crooked, the bed skirt was half tucked up under the mattress. Our room was around the back in a tight area against the fence that borders the busy road - it felt incredibly unsafe to walk around there in the dark I foolishly thought a hotel by Wyndham would be a place I could count on to be updated a bit and clean. Very disappointed.
The staff wa very warm, friendly and accomodating. Room was adequet and the fire place was a welcome treat after a long day.
We notified them we would be using the sofa bed. The sofa bed was not made and the sheets in the closet looked like rags. When we opened the bed the mattress was full of tears an holes. My son did not want to sleep on it.
That I was charged by the hotel and kayak for my room
Not clean, horrible bed, dirty carpet and tile, paint job atrocious, ridiculous shower, too short shower curtain, horrible maintenance, no towels and it took 2 phone calls and an offer to retrieve them myself before they showed up 2 hours later. This place is in desperate need of Renovating.
Very good value for the price Large room Full kitchen Decent hot breakfast
Somewhat rundown outside I never saw such a thread-bare lower sheet before Kitchen could use some updating
This was the worst hotel I have seen in twenty years of traveling abut 75 nights per year! I checked in and they put me in a room that had not been cleaned or made up -- they moved me to another room and that one had not been cleaned -- when I left to find another hotel they told me that they would NOT refund the charge. Kayak had it listed as a three star -- it was barely a one star! It apparently was a Marriott Residence Inn twenty five years ago when they sold it -- and Wyndham hasn't touched it since -- TERRIBLE -- I'd rather stay in my car than stay in that dump!
Nothing the entire place was literally falling apart and disgusting and we did not stay there we left immediately it was disgusting and falling apart
Buildings were literally falling apart, there were exposed wires, trash and beer bottles were all over the grounds and right outside the door, the sign for the room was on the ground not attached to the wall, the room was supposed to be non smoking and when I opened the door the thick wall of smoke was so thick my mother gagged. I have never seen a three star hotel that Was so disgusting and falling apart. And I knew we could not stay there. We did not even gave trouble getting our money back because it was so disgusting. In fact I have never seen a hotel or motel this awful in my life. I suspect they are in violation of health and building codes. DO NOT LET KAYAK USERS stay there.
