Hong Kong International Airport is one of the largest airports in the world and is located 21 miles northwest of Hong Kong Island. Millions of passengers pass through the terminal halls each day en route to destinations around the world. Several airline carriers operate from Hong Kong International such as Air France, Malaysia Airlines, and Quantas Airways. North American airline carriers that serve Hong Kong International include Delta Airlines, US Airways, United Airlines, Continental Airlines, and American Airlines.  

The airport features two terminal halls. Both terminal halls offer several restaurants, bars, and snack carts. Additionally, the airport features many retail shops and bookstores. Airline passengers who have a long layover can take advantage of other airport services such as lounge rooms, designated smoking areas, Internet access, and more. The airport is easy to reach via car or public transportation. Plus, several transportation options are available to airline passengers upon arriving at the terminal. Rental car facilities are located on the premise, and a variety of car hire services are situated near baggage claim.  

Directions

Follow signs to Western Harbor Tunnel. Take Western Kowloon Expressway and follow airport road signs to terminal halls.  

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 features baggage claim, access to ground transportation, check-in, and ticket counters. This terminal also includes a variety of restaurants, retail shops, and other passenger amenities. Designated smoking lounges, post office, and banking services are available on Level 5. Wireless Internet is available throughout the terminal halls, and a modern business facilities supplies meeting rooms and an assortment of business amenities.  

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 features six levels. The lower level contains baggage claim, security checkpoints, check-in, and ticket counters. Gates 1-80 are located on Levels 5 & 6. Other services such a Police, banking, and nursing room are located on Level 3. Terminal 2 also offers a wide selection of eateries and retail shops.
