This was the worst experience of all..it was like being at the Bates Motel...The room smelled, there was a wad of hair in the shower stuck to the wall..there was mold around the bathroom doors and floor..We aksed for extra towels before we left to get air freshner and food, when we got back the room door was open...It was horrible, the linen looked and smelled clean but the pillows smelled like breath...i will never go back..it is not worth saving the few pennys...I would never refer anyone to stay there ever.
Was disappointed in this name-brand hotel and it's quality of stay it provides!
pool was cloudy and needed to be shocked. access to upstairs rooms diffucult. breakfast was bare bones not a lot of choices. ice machines not working. overall condition poor and in need of repair and updating.
Overall it was fine but I could tell it needed some updates and improvements.
I stayed at this La Quinta last August. I made the reservation over the internet. I requested a ground floor room as I am disabled and on oxygen. I also made this request when I reached the front desk. The staff was undermanned when I checked in and the lady at the front desk had to go check with housekeeping to see which rooms were available. She came back, promptly assigned me a room on the second floor and made no mention of my request. Took about 20 minutes to check in. There were other guests in front of me when I got there and only one person working. Finally got to my room and it was acceptable. There were some cobwebs up in the corners of the ceiling but other than that it was clean and ready to go. Had to contact Tech Support because the wi-fi access point closest to me was not working properly though they were able to tell me who to get my laptop to ignore that one for one farther away and resolve the issue. The continental breakfast the next day was pretty good and the stay overall was OK.
Considering the age of the property, this is a good value for the monies. The rooms have been redone and are comfortable. Have stayed here prior and will stay again on the next trip.
Met by a courteous staff, reservation was all in order. Friendly, outgoing staff made sure I had everything I would need, thorough, almost over the top, directions to my room. Room was nicely furnished, AC was working well and room was nice and cool (outside was 95). Cleanliness apparent everywhere I went. Overall an enjoyable stay, I would do it again.
Checking in was extremely pleasant. The night shift clerk was excellent. The room was clean and fairly quiet. The only problem came at check out. I was there for a business interview that was scheduled for 1:00pm. Check out was 12pm. At 10:30, a staff member came by to 'confirm' that I was checking out that day. At 11:30, I recevied a call from the desk, wanting to know when I would be leaving the room. After I confirmed that check out was at 12pm, I explained that I would be staying until them as to minimize the time spent in my car, waiting for the interview. The desk clerk told me that the maids wanted to know when I would be out, and told me I could wait in the lobby also. So, if you stay here, apparently the 12pm check out time should be interpreted as 11am at the very latest. Otherwise, you will be bugged until you actually do check out.
The first room we were given, the Air conditioning didn't work. The 2nd room, the toilet would not flush and not sure if the other plumbing worked properly. They offered a smoking room, totally unacceptable. No manager and no maintenance personnel was available to do anything. Two conventions were in town and no one to help except an incompetent desk clerk. We took the no toilet room and had to go outside thru the parking lot into the lobby to use the bathroom. The only rate adjustment they made was to exclude the tax. Security is questionable, as they were robbed last week. I will NEVER stay here again. Do not go here.
This is the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at a number over the years. I got the impression they were milking it for what value was left, before tearing it down or totally renovating it. Almost everything seemed to be be kept at a minimum level to be functional. The large pool was full of dark green water and looked like it had been that way for a while. At least the free fresh made waffles were as good as ever. That is the main reason I stayed there. I would stay at a La Quinta again, but not this one.
Great place for a great price. I am planning to come back in a couple of months.
the showers didn't work very well, but everything else was fine.
