Location of room
The hotel was nice! (It's a Super 8....not the Ritz) It was recently remodeled. The staff was nice and the pool was nice and refreshing. And close to Arrowhead where we were going.
The breakfast is the only thing that was lacking but there was pancakes and coffee. So it was fine.
close to interstate, gas station and restaurants close by, easy access
Location was good
Room key repeatedly did not work.
Great breakfast provided. Great location right off the highway, easy for road trips. Great location also because it is right behind an AMAZING frozen custard shop. Paper cups were provided.
I had a SLIGHT dislike for being on the 3rd floor - more stairs to carry up all my stuff.
The location to the freeway was excellent. Close to Arrowhead Stadium where we were attending an event.
The room had an unusual smell. The bathroom was not very clean and there were holes in the blankets of the non-smoking room. The place felt unclean overall. It did not have an elevator and the stairwells were very hot and smelly.
The room was very clean and well put together. The shower worked nicely. No problems with the location or the staff.
Felt like I got what I paid for.
Hot tub controls could use an update.
location and price
location and convienant.
weird place for a room right in the lobby area, little small but it worked out good.
Best super 8 I ever stayed at and there have been quite a few.
Convenient location and easy to get into and out of.
No elevator and we were on the third floor.
Friendly helpful staff
Great location and friendly staff
I loved the clean room and the housekeepers where amazingly nice..
The police showed up cause my neighbors where loud and fighting!!
I liked the girl who checked me in.. she was nice..
The bed had blood on it and hairs... looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. I was desperate for a room for the night, so I took what I could get..
The hotel is extremely old and smells like an ashtray. I wasn't even aware that smoking hotels still existed. The pictures are a false representation of what the hotel actually is.
The Hotel was fine for our needs.
Staff was quick to help with luggage since there was no elevator to the 3rd floor.
Check in took a long time with the customers ahead of us. Our priceline check in, however, was quick. Lack of an elevator was not great and the hallways all smelled of smoke.
The location was great for the places we visited.
Out of all of the Super 8 's. we stayed in the one was the worst. The carpet was falling apart, the furnishings were old, the mattresses on the beds were well past their prime. The rooms had an old musty smell in them
The location was good. No problem parking.
The rollaway bed we rented for two nights was not good.
Not for non-ambulatory persons, as there are stairs with no ramps leading from the front desk to the guest rooms and to front exits. Continental breakfast was dry carbs, a few bananas, with watery coffee and juices. Rooms were ok but small with beds that are to soft and lumpy pillows. The cleaning crew did a good job daily but the room had a stale smell unless the window was left opened. Front desk seemed selective with regards to being friendly. There were a lot of loungers in the tiny front entry that appeared to be given a lot of attention though. Picked this location as there is a pool advertised, but the pool is 'seasonal' and was not open during the stay. Would have paid less for the same elsewhere. A plus is the coin washers and dryers that are available and the close proximity of the freeway, a Quick Trip for gas and snacks, and free wifi.
I would have rather slept in my 4 Runner. The room smelled like a nurseing home and the furniture and decorations were something off one of the National Lampoons Vacations movies. The front desk attendent was very pleasent and gracious, she was the only good thing about the place.
On arrival I thought everything was great. That all changed very quickly. Leaving that evening we blocked in by a maintenance truck. The heated pool was not heated. The super start breakfast was not the deluxe as advertised. There had been storm damage previously and roof repairs started on Saturday. We were no longer able to use the entrance closest to our room. This made getting to and from our room more difficult as walking is an issue as one individual in my party is handicapped with her knees. An air compresser was placed approximately 15 feet from our window and this was very unpleasant. If the window was closed the noise was annoying and with the window open we could not even talk to each other. At 7:00P.M. we spoke with the desk clerk and she stated they would have to quit at dark and laughed. We later found out that other guests were moved to other rooms, however we were brushed off. The manager was not available on Sunday morning, but was to be in later. I called the motel at 1:30P.M. that afternoon and the desk clerk stated she had told him of my concerns. He was in and not available to take my call, but I was given his voice mail and was assured he would call me back. He did not!!!
We stayed here for a wedding. We had to assemble the wedding cake in the room, and there was no table. The room was small and disorganized.
Rooms were not priced as advertised. same price for single as double. government discount and not tax did not matter on pricing. no coffeepots in rooms. staff was very good.
