I stayed a long weekend here with my friend and the lovely people at hotel Irvine really made us feel like welcome guests! From the complimentary bikes, to the Friday night movie on the lawn, to the friendly and delightful staff, every minute here was relaxing and stress-free. My friend has severe food allergies which the staff graciously and professionally worked arround for her. It really meant a lot to be able to enjoy my mini-vacation knowing that everything we needed was being taken care of. Thank you so much!
Good hotel, excellent location. Clean and comfortable.
The music in the lobby is a bit loud.
I liked the pool, room size, little market downstairs with reasonable prices, location to where I was going and the feel of the hotel. There is a mini refrigerator that you can fill up. I like the concept, instead of an overpriced minibar.
The front desk was confused as to when breakfast ended. (We were told 8am which is ridiculous, but it was actually 9:30.) we missed a few days due to thinking we missed it. The carpet and little features could be updated, but for the most part it was clean. We would stay again.
We loved our room with a view. Even though the hotel was busy with dance competition and softball teams, our room was quiet and service was great. We will definitely be back soon!
Loved the market place and the Dj at the bar in the evenings!
The grounds, the staff was friendly and helpful, bed was comfy, pool area and 24 hour marketplace were very nice.
Paying for parking, odd odor on the different floors, no cold water, half-closed shower door.
Love the rooms , beds were stiff. Lobby and staff were great
The hotel charges 18 dollars extra a night to park your car. Weather you valet or not. i hate hidden fees. And the free Wifi was so bad, you were better off not using it.
Paying for parking!
Friendly staff and a clean modern environment.
Sheets where a little rough but the bed was comfortable.
Hotel was very clean. The market place has very good desserts and inexpensive. Hotel desk staff we're pleasant. Pool was nice, warm, and clean. Overall a Great Hotel.
I didn't understand the glass walls for the tubs. It covered only halfway. When you would shower the water would splash out onto the floor. Plus they didn't give bath mats for when the floor got soaking wet. The AC would turn off at night while you are sleeping when it doesn't detect movement in the room. Not too comfortable waking up sweaty.
The hotel was very centrally located and the staff was always courteous and attentive. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
Our only dislike is the $18 per day self parking. I could understand this for event/conference parking but I believe guest should have this waived as it accounted for another $90 on my 5 night stay.
Check-in service was fine. The room was comfortable, although the television was sitting on a plastic laminate folding table that clearly didn't belong. And the desk didn't match the other furniture. Made the room feel like leftover stuff had been thrown in there.
When I went for breakfast (included in the room rate), there was no hostess for several minutes. Eventually I was waved towards the seating area, but no waiter ever came to my table to offer coffee or see if I wanted anything a la carte. The breakfast buffet was a lot of carbs and a pan of dried out breakfast burritos, no fruit at all. Worst of all was the self-serve coffee - burnt tasting and horrid. It turned a reasonably comfortable experience into a poor one.
Breakfast was poor quality not healthy food. Not sanitary . As usuall for buffet .
Hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit.
It was clear our room had not been cleaned when we checked in. There were flies everywhere, the sheets were stained and ripped and the overall feel of the room was just grimy. We were so discussed by the dirty towels left in the room and the sheer number of flies that we ended up moving hotels that night. I would not recommend this hotel.
Ordered king size room but only got a double
They did check us in about an hour early which was nice to get off the road and go straight to the hotel. Check in was easy they were nice.
Our room it wasn't completely clean there were dirty wine glasses and dirty clothing someone prior had left in the room which makes me wonder if even the bedding was changed or just made with dirty sheets. We woke up for breakfast and got there at 9:45 for them to tell us breakfast closes at 10 when every writen info they gave us clearly said breakfast ends at 1030 needless to say we were rushed and we felt as if they were trying to get us to go somewhere else so we ended up missing breakfast and got something on the road after we left. When we let the lady at the front desk know about our room not that morning all she had to say was "I'm sorry but thank you for letting us know" it seemed like they didn't care they didn't ask if there was something they could do to make us a little bit happier with our stay or anything so at that point I didn't even want to talk to them anymore I just wanted to leave, needless to say I am very disappointed and I feel like that's not the kind of service I should receive if I paid over $100 to stay there for a night so I will let everyone I know about the service and experience I received and I will not be going back to stay at the Irvine hotel.
They staff was very friendly. They seemed to be sorry about things not working properly. They said because I did not book through them directly they would not adjust the bill. They did offer me a sandwich from the deli for no internet and ice machine being broken and forgetting the wake up call.
I stayed at the hotel on business. It was very important to me to have internet connection. When I first got to the room I called the desk to let them know I did not have internet. They said I must be doing something wrong. But they would check on their end. After I came back from a meeting took a shower got ready for bed, still no internet. I called again. They said they will send a Tec to my room. I was not completely comfortably with this as I was getting ready for bed. It was after 10:00 when he came, he could not get it working. He called the front desk. The front suggested I now change rooms to a different location in the hotel. I said it was too late for this. Before he left, their tec told me I could call a number and they might be able to remotely fix it. I told him that the hotel should be the one calling, he told me I had to do it. So he left and for another 30 minutes I dealt with another company in another state to get the Hotels internet up. After 30 minutes or so the company did fix it. But by this time I was ready to sleep. Because it was so late when I ended up going to bed, I asked for a wake up call to be on time for my meeting. They actually called back to verify the time. The next morning there was NO wake up call! I called down when I woke up and they just said, "oops sorry"! Another problem was the ice machine on my floor was broken. When I called the front desk to report it, instead of offering to bring me ice, they told me to go to another floor or the deli to get it. I went down to the deli and got ice. I was very disappointed in my stay at the Hotel. For the price I expected more.
I liked my view and the hotel overall was lovely.
Parking was far and I had to pay for the parking while I stayed. On top of that the bathroom was filthy and with now trashcan liners in any trash can provided overall I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone .
Smell of Cigarette in the hallway and room. lots of noise and drunk people in the middle of night, also 911 came at 2am for a person who was overdosed! small room with very small bathroom. Overall, very bad experience.and not recommended!
