Staff was wonderful. Room was comfortable and clean. Also decorated nicely for the holiday season!
the people and the room
a little further out of ithacagood value
Room was lovely. Beds Were comfortable
Scrambled eggs were very fake in taste as were the sausagesWith the exception of some of the breakfast selections I would highly Recommend this hotel. It's location was a bit far from the area of Ithaca that I wished to be in
The staff was great.
The breakfast was OK.Very convenient to Ithaca College where we were visiting. It was a little expensive for what we got. The 'suite' was not exactly what was pictured on the website. The 'living area' was dark and the pullout sofabed was thin. But, everything worked fine: refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. The pool was clean and almost warm... kids didn't mind the temperature of the water. The hot tub was great for the adults. The staff was very friendly and helpful: There was a small fire emergency where we all had to evacuate. It was handled professionally and the checkout time was extended.
Nice comfortable room. The people that work there are terrific! Fresh baked cookies on check-in. Good breakfast. Nice location.
There was quite a bit of hair in the tub and not mine! Walls seem a bit thin.Great place to stay in Ithaca. Wish the price was not so high or I would stay here every time.
The room was fantastic! It was huge, with unusually high ceilings, nicely laid out and clean. Bed was very comfortable.
The room we had was right over the main entrance so we had noise from below. You couldn't close the drapes and there was a brightly lit gas station across the way. Breakfast was marginal: stale breads, old fruit salad, bad scrambled eggs and lousy coffee.Book a 2nd floor room that faces the back of the hotel- less noise and bright light. The lobby is very inviting with the fireplace and the warm cookies. But the coffee and the breakfast are just okay.
This hotel is close enough to everything and much more affordable than staying downtown. Rooms are nice and they class it up with some decent bedding and robes. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to test it out.
I like the proximity to Ithaca College. It is very convenient for us when we visit our daughter. Forgot to ask for the Ithaca College discount though.
The hotel has an odd smell throughout...it smells like body odor. We noticed it most in the lobby and in the hallways. The smell was not present in our room.Overall, our stay was pleasant. The only real drawback was the smell I mentioned above, and upon arrival in our room, we discovered the fridge had not been cleaned out. The prior occupant's food was still in there! We reported it to the front desk, but the clerk was overwhelmed and said it could be a while before anyone would get to take care of it. We ended up removing the food ourselves and giving it to one of the room attendants. The hotel staff was a bit overwhelmed the day we arrived. It seemed they were understaffed having had 3 tour buses arrive. There was only one person on the desk dealing with all the commotion in addition to answering ...
