The room was huge, well appointed and quiet. Water pressure in the shower was outstanding. Staff knew exactly how to treat guests, and the place was SPOTLESS! Didn't get to try the pool since it rained the entire time I was there.
The wi-fi at the facility is way overworked. Everytime I tried to log in I had to call their IT support and then they would reset the server. That took a phone call back to the hotel, then about 20-30 minutes for the in-house IT guy to reset the system. Incredibly inconvenient and a very simple fix. Hard to communicate with family and friends when you can't get online. That was truly the only irritant I had, other than the fact that NEVADA is still in the '70's and smoke ruled the air in the casinos. Early morning was good, but after about 2p.m. my allergies got slammed and I had to leave.
Clean and quiet.
Check in was weird-across the street. I looked and could find nowhere in the confirmations that this was how to do it. If it was there, it was not obvious. No little information book in the room about restaurants, etc. No wifi, or if there was, it wasn't offered or mentioned in the room or by staff.
new, clean, and the room was good-sized. Very nice pool and spa. There are three restaurants to choose from- these we all in the newer resort, Pete's, where we stayed. the other one, Horseshu is older.
The Pictures shown were from both resorts/casinos. We thought we were staying in the tower according to the photos. But we were booked at the older resort across the street. We ended up paying the difference to stay at the newer Pete's. I felt the photos were misleading and it didn't represent what we booked.
I was able to bring my pets with me. Everything was pleasent and clean.
The check in is across the street at cactus Petes. It is very inconvenient to walk or drive across a street just to get your room.
