Good halfway location between DC and Baltimore. One of the better Extended Stays that I have visited. The young lady who works evening shift (I checked in about 0730 PM) is superb - puts extra effort into making your stay a good one.
Hotel Staff, especially the evening desk manager very helpful and attentive to guest needs and wants.
I enjoy this hotel

Nice room, conveniently located between Baltimore and DC.
The room was clean and very spacious
Some staff unfriendly.
It was quite
Never been in a hotel without ice machine. Had refrigerator but had to get coffee maker from front desk but did not provide the coffee packets and none in lobby except at breakfast which was coffee, package oatmeal, apple, fruit bar.
Its not far from Columbia which is what we wanted
Its pretty isolated. And def not the cleanest - funky smell, stained carpet. it served its purpose for the evening but i don't think i'll be staying there again
Everything smelled like smoke
no break fast, only coffee
Clean, convenient location
Someone tried to break in my room. Thank goodness I put the latch on. I didn't realize until I saw the latch was moved and the screws were almost coming out of the door. Also room reeked of smoke.
Descent room for the price, overall room was clean, staff was friendly.Free coffee, muffins and fruit in the morning
No gym, no maid service if you don't stay the entire week.
The attitude of the receptionist, and the hotel's policy on utencils
Breakfast was mediocre. Never seen our room keeper. There was a 100$ deposit and still haven't gotten it back yet. It's been 5 days.
The location was both good and bad. I liked how close it was to Ft. Meade, but disliked the personality of this end of Jessup.
The personality of the area left something to be desired.
We had a big red satin on carpet. The silver ware had stains too and the room was could have been cleaner over all.
Breakfast table was a negligible!
The kitchenette and guest laundry facilities were a plus.
Got stuck in a smoking rm despite respiratory problems; was told nonsmoking was 'sold out.' Open window didn't help. Bed, pillows, walls, upholstery stank of smoke. Very unpleasant stay in that regard. If I could get a nonsmoking room, I'd book again.
only one cart for hotel this size is moronic
Clean, spacious rooms
breakfast. Not much of it. But better than nothing as it happens in other extended stay locations. I also think customer service could be more frienlier and prices a bit lower
Low price and kitchen.
The hallways smell like cigarettes.
Room 318, the best room everrrrr.
The smoking rooms were too strong. Very narrow hall ways!!!
Pleasantly surprised when I walked into a Clean Spacious room:) Very pleased with front staff:) Will gladly book with Extended Stay America again!
Got if for a decent price.
The smell and smelly/stained linens.
Room very nice...simple, clean and met all of our needs. Location was easy to get to and acees to many local attractions. Hotel staff VERY RUDE..tooo busy on the cell phone to be bothered with speaking to customers..sitting in chair no shoes feet up makeig personal calls major attiude to actually do job..little to know knowledege of hotel amentites ie did not know where pillows or towels kept..no cleaning service do to short stay..yet staff did not know where towels were located. Managamnet should definaltey consider the scecret shopper to check on staff. Cleaning crew opened door even though do not disturb sign in and were several hours before check out. This was a nice hotel but would caustion guest that staff are rude.
Our room was nice. The kitchenette was very convenient to have. Their was some hair on the bathroom floor and counter in the bathroom that had been left by a previous occupant. But all in all, not to bad. However, I unfortunately left an somewhat expensive item in the room. I called 30 minutes after I left and asked them to keep it for me until 10/1/09 when I was returning through that area. I was told that they would and being an honest person myself, I expected the employee's to be equally honest. Wrong. As you might imagine on 10/1/09 I called to verify that some one would be at the desk when I got there and, yes you guessed it, they had no idea what happened to my belonging. I was treated very respectfully by the management. But still the fact remains that my item was never returned. I am sure that someone who works or worked at this hotel is enjoying it very much at my expense at this very moment. Anyways, management did offer me a comp nights stay, which I appreciate but the cost to replace my 'lost' item is still much more than that.
