The room was clean, no bedbugs(yes we took the sheets off etc.)
We were on the first floor (as we requested), the highway noise was a bit loud even with the window closed. Better windows on the first floor would be great.
All good!Very inexpensive. I was expecting a dive in a bad part of town given the very low price. The room was defnitely no frills (no clock, no wall paintings, very plain) -BUT- was clean, not too terribly small, and was right by a modern mall (i.e. was NOT in a bad part of town!). !!WELL!! worth the money!

The hotel was old and had ancient furniture kinda felt like a horror movie. But for just a place to crash on the way to Chicago great location.
I stayed at this hotel a few times about 4-5 years ago and it was nice place to stay. It's still a good value for the money if all you need is a place to stay over night, but now it's run down and tired. The mattresses look new, but the rest of the furniture is worn out and the bedding, towels, and carpets really need to be replaced. If all you want is a cheap room for the night, a pool for the kids, and a so-so breakfast in the morning, this hotel might be what you're looking for.

Nothing. I would never stay here again
We stayed here over the Sprint Cup Chase weekend, it was awful. Never ever again.. I can't believe Days Inn allows this place to use their name. It says something about your hotel if it's not full over a Race Weekend. Was woken every morning at 4:30 am. I got the impression that people lived in this hotel, All very loud. Peopel were congregating in the parking lot at all hours. No-one was very helpful when I complained about this. One could make assumptions, about this place, and there was on oddly disturbing element here. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY, AND DEFINITELY NOT A PLACE FOR A SINGLE WOMAN TO STAY AT ALONE or one with kids.
