The room was good and the walls thin. The TV volume would go up and down when changing channels and the neighbor called the desk because of the volume. Not good when you are trying to settle down from a long drive.
The hotel was quite clean, friendly staff, and decent size room. The breakfast bar was excellent, including the typical fruits and pastries as well as scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy...definitely not choices I am used to seeing at a hotel breakfast. The hotel itself was very easily accessible from the highway and was well located in relation to shops and restaurants. The only issue I had was that when I was checking in, there was only one staff member at the front desk with a line of eventually 5 people; he did not acknowledge the line or make apologies even though we stood in line for nearly half an hour while he assisted one person. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
We were very tired and glad to find this hotel so nice and comfortable, and the price was right. Breakfast was great!
Not new, but clean and safe. Good location. Friendly staff.
The room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable, and they had biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast! The only complaint I have is that the walls were rather thin and poorly-insulated. We could hear the folks in the room next door when they came in at about 11:30 pm and turned on the television. The TV and their conversations were not that loud, but we could still hear them through the walls.
Great stay. Front desk personnel were very courtest and very business like. Room was very clean with updated furniture. Flat screen TV, micro wave, refridge. Breakfast bar had everyting that you could want for breakfast. Only problem was the sign directing you to the hotel was not very clear since the Express was placed behind the Holiday Inn.
My family recently visited Jonesboro AR for my childrens ball tournament. The evening staff was VERY rude including the General Manager. This is not a very kid friendly hotel. The day staff was OK, but the evening staff was rude to me and also my children. I would not recommend this hotel and definately will not stay there again during another tournament.
I have stayed at this hotel three times in visiting Jonesboro on business. I was very satisfied with each stay. The rooms are large, clean, with all the amenities you would expect. The breakfast is fantastic, the eating area is a little small when everyone comes down for breakfast, but I've often taken my things up to my room to eat anyhow. The customer service is excellent. I asked for directions once, and was given a free map, and she spent 10 minutes helping me figure out where to go. She didn't have to do that, but everyone there seems to want to help you. On one stay, the shower didn't seem to be draining very well. I discovered the next day that I hadn't pulled the drain open all the way, after that it flowed out just fine. My fault, not theirs. The soaps, shampoo, and lotions all are nice. Would recommend.
Nothing but kind words for this hotel, their staff, food, and beverage. I would recommend for business or pleasure and would stay there again if I'm ever in the neighborhood. The room was very clean, house keeping responded promptly to my calls, desk staff were helpful and had nice smiles.
The elevator was not working and I had to carry all of my luggage to the top floor. I felt the help should have carried my bags to my room. Also, when I was trying to make reservations, I was suppose to get a certain discount and the woman was not honest with me about the amount of the discount. I had to call back 3 times before they got it right. The rooms were okay, nothing special. I thought the hotel was overpriced for what you got. I will not go back to this hotel.
