relaxing rooms with lots of space
Taking luggage up the stairs
-It was within walking distance to Crown Center -Staff very pleasant and helpful -Room was large and had a full kitchenette -Free breakfast -Free internet -Free parking
-Located close to a busy street so the noise was somewhat loud at times -Seemed like there were lots of add on taxes to the room once you select it (sales tax, convention tax, room tax). So the 'cheap rate' wasn't all that cheap with those
Great room and great location for what we were doing in town.
Front desk wasn't always manned. Breakfast area very cramped and the food was running out consistently.
The location was great. The lady at the front desk was VERY nice.
The room above us was very noisy with a small child stomping all over after 10:30 at night. Annoying!
Room was clean. Everything we needed. Staff was AMAZING
Spacious rooms, nice breakfast.
Exterior corridor hotel so had to go outside to get to lobby each time I needed something.
It is an average old hotel.
Area around it. Parking charges. average on cleaning.
Gave me a room that was already occupied. Offered me another room whIch was a downgrade. Noise from upstairs was ridiculous and lasted ALL night. Television remote was broken. Room looked old and dated. Terrible terrible terrible!
Rooms were large, clean, and modern. Excersise room was small but had everything I needed. The breakfast was wonderful. Staff were very helpful.Great experience - will return soon
Location was not the best. Parking was limited.
Excellent breakfast buffet. Very friendly, helpful staff.
It had a fireplace in the room and the front desk offered the firelog for a small fee, there was a full kitchen and luxurious vanity bath sink area.
The office front desk area was a bit dated and had a slight mold smell. But the unit was clean and updated.
My room was located next to a kids playground...wasn't the most ideal for a quiet stay.
location and it offered shuttle service
my key did not work and it just happen taht our room was on the third floor. We were in a hurry and when i went back to get it redone they acted like it was no big deal and took their time to get my new keys...both phones in room did not work??????
Residence Inn with ample space in room, kitchen, within two miles of the event I was in Kansas City for.
Sound from room above, footsteps very audible from person pacing in the middle of the night that woke me up.
The room itself was my favorite.
Yes. We had two rooms booked which were in different buildings completely across from each other. And we couldn't figure out which side to enter. Also, they screwed up my reservation and cancelled a room for the wrong night. Luckily they had an extra one.
The room size was great
The ice machine did not work. Cabinet door hinge was broken. And dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
Location was close to many types of venues.
--Room had been smoked in. --Had other residences awake us at 5:00am outside our room-loudly. --Pull out bed had bar in middle with little padding from the matress.
Excellent customer service
Not ideal for walkability
the van driver was awesome! he was the nicest one. the lady at the front desk at 4pm was rude, our room wasn't ready, we had to wait, I called down to get on the 530 van ride to downtown, and when we got there at 530 he had left she didn't tell him.
the room was not up to 3 star hotel. Its more of a 2 star.
The location was great! With free shuttle rides to crown center and free parking, it's the best deal in the area. It was also really nice to have to have a spacious room with a kitchen.
Traffic noise could be heard inside our room. The room needed some updates, new carpet.
Breakfast and its location near downtown and free parking
Room was not very clean. Smelled damp. Had fruit flies and stains on the bathroom walls above the toilet. The security guard was a reassuring reminder of the location.
Love the private entrances, felt more like being in your own apartment than a hotel. Room was very nice, very clean. Comfortable mattress and pillows!
Only has an outdoor pool! At this price point, I expected an indoors one. That wouldn't keep me from going here again. Close to downtown, and other touristy areas, but wasn't easy to drive to/from due to bad road design/construction.
Location and that it was a suite
It had an old smell
clean, and location was good
asked for easy access to room for loading and unloading, map showed direct access from parking yet had to carry all the way around to back, there was a sliding door 6 steps down close but was full with about 2 feet of snow, un shoveled , steps to back
The room had some wear and tear issues that needs to be attended to (rust on bathroom door hinges due to poor ventilation); the end table had some damage, the sheets had fibers and hairs, etc. I was in town for my father's funeral. Due to bad weather, we had to check out early. I would have liked to have been offered a partial credit voucher to use towards a future stay. The staff was courteous. I was impressed that the parking lot was well salted very early 1st thing in the morning. Thx!
The location is awesome. You are close to all major attractions in Downtown Kansas City. Nice part of Kansas City, we felt very safe too.
Their customer service was poor. They don't have reliable staff during the winter time. They didn't salt the steps when icy or clean our room after 1st night because they didn't have enough staff due to winter weather.
Location and cost
Noisy Neighbors... They arrived late and were very obnoxious and loud with no regard to others sleeping...
Bad location. I was looking for a 'downtown' hotel, but this was not even close to walking distance for the downtown area
The rooms were suites so there was a bit more room.
It was VERY noisy. Poor insulation made for poor sleep.
The full kitchen.
Hotel probably needs updating soon.
This hotel is described as 'pet friendly'. While it appears clean, I received flea bites on my legs.
Typical Marriott Style with clean fresh rooms, breakfast served and great location. Easy to find in KC and not far from the city.
