The Location was great, the staff was pleasant, the room was spacious.
Two thirds of the hotel was under renovation, so there was no onsite restaurant. The only dining at the hotel was a complementary fruit plate in the morning, and a cafeteria set up in the conference room for breakfast and lunch. I'm sure that had the hotel been operating at 100% I wouldn't have anything to put here.
It was relatively inexpensive, and really close to the beach!
Close to beach
Ocean side room really means a room by the pool with the beach way in the distance. There is actually a road separating the hotel from the beach. The pool closes at 8 and they play bad music through poolside speakers until 10, so you can't have your window open. Staff wouldn't turn it off early even though there was no one at the pool
This is a dump!!! Do not stay here. We stayed one night. The whole hotel is filthy carpet, mirror, shower, bugs. Trust me spend a little more money so you don't have ant infestation in your cloths. We got to the hotel at 11pm and left at 7am because it was so bad.
Staff was very friendly Proximity to the beach
Some parts felt dated or worn out Breakfast is a joke
The hot tub
Pretty much everything else. Place needs to be rebuilt. Also they did not have our reservation.
It gave me a place to sleep. This place was probably nice in 1982. It looks like nobody has spent any money on upkeep since.
They say they have AC, technically they do, but it doesn't work. My room was warmer then the outside air everyday. I couldn't open the screen door, because it wouldn't close all the way, there are geckos and bugs every where. The glass sliding door you had to be a fit athlete to open, close, and lock. The refrigerator was broken, so they put a smaller one on the floor. By the way that refrigerator didn't really keep anything cold, cool yes. The paint had quarter sized chips in the paint in my room. If you go to kauai you aren't looking for night life. That doesn't mean you should close the hotel restaurant at 8 pm and the bar at 830 pm.
It was cheap n great location to activities
Showers looks dirty n found some bugs in my bathroom
