Tailgate all-nighter out back (no sleep), used shampoo bottle in room. Dirty worn out carpet and smell of old smoke odour that 'hung' in room. Sheets over-bleached.
Close to 401
There were bugs, looked like cockroaches, in my room.
Not so comfortable
the location and then Dennys restaurant
the bed could a being at least a pillow top or something more comfortable then feeling the springs all night.
Staff was friendly. Close to lots of restaurants.
Little far from downtown. Pool outdoors and no heater. Too cold to swim.
It was clean and well maintained, excellent value for money. Friendly and polite staff.
Location was great.
Room was extremely outdated and the bathroom was disgusting. I don't think the carpet has ever been cleaned.
The bed and bedding were amazing. Never slept so well.
The bathroom was a little outdated but very clean.
Staff was helpful. The hallways were tired. Clean room - GREAT bed and pillows. had what we needed at the front desk. Nice having a Denny's right there in the lobby.
convenience of location and restaurant
Bed was very very hard
One of the least expensive in town at xxx inc. tax, but not worth the money. Accommodation in this town is pricey!
There was a gummy bear down the back of my bed, the security door to the patio that didn't allow re-entry from outside didn't lock (push it right open!), and there was hair in the washroom and the shower drain was slow. Housekeeping was sketchy.
The hotel could use more care in small details. Room was not very clean. Bathroom set up is poor and not clean. I wouldn't go there again.
We had planned to stay at the Days Inn hotel while we we're in Kingston. When we arrived the staff was courteous and friendly. After getting the key to our room we unloaded our things and brought our toddler to use the washroom. The washroom was very small and smelt wet and mildewy. Seeing as we paid a cheaper price for the hotel we shrugged it off and went into the bedroom area of the hotel. Other than the room being small, the carpets were stained, the tv was 27'', the bed was rock hard and the room was very humid and uncomfortable. While this hotel might be a nice spot for business travel I would not recommend it for a family vacation.
