Breakfast was VERY difficient
The hotel did not look anything like the picture. For the price we paid, I expected a little more. The room was dirty. The towels didn't look clean And there was a bar of soap with hair on it left on the sink.
I arrived early and they were able to take me in before check in time. They had my confirmation readily available. I just had to provide my name.
Chairs in the room were dirty. Filled with what appeared to be makeup. Thank goodness I didn't sit on it would have stained my pants. The phone cord was ripped and there was no way for me to make a call out. Seem like something from a horror movie.
Carpet had not been vacuumed. Shower stall had a lot of mildew and soap scum. Towels were very dingy.
The location is great and we did not hear the highway noise. There was breakfast available in the morning, and they provided soap, shampoo, & conditioner. The great news is that the free wifi, fridge and microwave all worked!
We requested and received a non-smoking room, but the air vent in the bathroom connects directly across to a smoking room- it irritated our throats and reeked. There was old duct tape on the vent, so it had already been identified as a problem.
The size of the rooms.
It smelled very bad, the 'breakfast' area was a counter with stale cereal on it. The room was absolutely disgustingly dirty with stains on the bedspread, floor & sheets. Room reeked of smoke and air was turned off. Tub was clogged, would not drain. BAD
We booked this motel for the price thinking that since a breakfast was included it would help with our trip's budget. The banner on the side of the motel said, 'hot breakfast.' There was cereal and coffee, a microwave and nothing tgat We've of a hot breakfast. So the banner was false and should be removed. The only thing tha felt up to par was the kige sized bed. The room needs paint and therewas a gross stain on one of the chairs. I will be very leary to stay at an Econo Lodge again. Walls were paper thin.thingy
I do not recomend this hotel, I don't particular care if is not a 5 star hotel but I do appreciate a clean place!
This was the worst motel/hotel I have ever stayed in. The room appeared clean, but under the surface it was horrible. The air condition unit did not work. It was blowing warm air on 60 degrees. I went to report it to get another room and the manager offered me a fan. I was amazed, he also said this was a new unit and that is why he put us in that room. The bathroom floor and toilet appeared clean on the surface. But remember you get what you pay for.
