Nothing! would never stay there again
On arrival, we found that the kettle in room was in a disgusting state as were the cups. The young girl on reception had no resources to change these and could only report it to housekeeping the following morning. At breakfast our order was not taken properly and when we pointed this out to the waitress serving us, she argued that we received what we ordered and would not accept that a mistake had been made. A complaint to the manager resulted in us beeing asked to leave the premises. I have stayed in much chaeper accommodation where the standards where so much higher than this overpriced establishment. My only consolation was that I had only booked for one night and not for more.
it was quiet
room too small, bathroom very small ,wash hand basin at the end of the bed.
Staff friendly and helpfull, thats it really , they did the best with what they had to work with.
In centre of Town ,2 doors up from local nightclub didnt get any sleep till after 3:30a.m noise from club too loud, not for couples with children. no parking. Was like a hostel not a hotel.
very central location,reasonably priced,very clean
easy going no fuss. great brearrir
The location was good the room was a bit too small for 2 the noise at night from the street was a bit loud.
There is very little praiseworthy about Tierneys but the facilities in the town of Kinsale and the scenery in the area is excellent.
The bedroom was single glazed and very cold. Hot breakfast in the morning was served on a stone cold plate in a miserably cold dining room. Other guests returning in the early hours were extremely noisy and totally spoiled our nights sleep.
Good position in the heart of the picturesque town of Kinsale. Rooms on the small size but prettily furnished with some flair.
Entrance area lets the guest house down. Not a great choice at breakfast.
Location and value for money
Rooms were a little cold at night
A great guesthouse in a great location, friendly helpful staff, close to restaurants, cafes and sights. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff delightful. WE would have liked to stay longer.
Road works outside the guesthouse were noisy, but this is only temporary.
